    Good System for the Cost So far these seem like they are a very good system for the price.Pro: InexpensiveEasy to set up: I hooked mine to a TV, use the included mouse to set up the home screen. Then it goes right to a screen with 8 blank camera feeds. As I plugged in cameras, they started streaming immediately. I haven't set up the WIFI yet, so hopefully that will be as easy.Cons: People complain about the fan noise on the DVR. I can hear it, but its not very loud. I put the DVR on a shelf, and I don't even notice it. The camera only have a 70 degree field of view, which can be a pain if you are setting them up in a small room. We have one in the baby's room, and I can see the crib, but not much else. I can only put the camera as high and far as my walls allow. The IR seems a little sensitive. On a cloudy day, it switches from regular to IR as the room darkens. Overall, its a good system for the money. I will add photos and updates as I install the rest and set up the WIFI. 5Perfect System On A Budget I'll be honest, I didn't have high hopes for this system due to the price for an 8 camera system. Well, I was wrong. The quality of the cameras feel top notch. The picture is clear as can be night or day. Extremely easy to set-up. You do not need a hard drive to view the cameras, but you do if you'd like to record and play back. I got a 1tb HDD for $40 on amazon and it will hold roughly 66 days of recording 24 hours / day. Pretty awesome if you ask me. It comes with two power supplies that hold 4 cameras each, so don't worry about having to power 8 separate cameras like I was.The only issue I had, which is very minor, is the app seems to need work. It's pretty slow, but it does work. You can record and screenshot straight to your phone while viewing all of your cameras. Overall, I highly recommend this system if you're looking for a budget camera system. 5Not worth the money after all. Bought this in Nov. 2015 but it seems like the cameras have a limited life span. Two of them have gone way out of focus, and there's no way to refocus them. I've got a problem with juvenile delinquents vandalizing my property but can't get a clear enough image to go after them. I'm going to have to find a real security cam system now. See the attached image. Cam 4, bottom right.It has been 3 days since I emailed tech support. They have not responded. 1Easy installation This system is an all-inclusive for a simple installation. It brings the DVR of 8ch, 4 cameras, the 4 cables to connect the cameras to the DVR, a mouse, two power supplies and certain hardware for the installation of the cameras and of course the documentation, both in physical and in a CD, with the installation steps. I can tell you that everything arrives very well packed.The system does not come with HDD, so I installed a 3.5 inch disc with 1 Tbt capacity. In the DVR you will find inside the power and data cable to connect the hard disk, it just does not bring the screws to physically install the hard disk drive, maybe this can be an additional in the hardware that brings this system in the future.The system can be controlled and monitored with a web application, which you can download and install on a computer or cell phone to have visibility of the cameras and certain functions of the DVR.Here I leave some pictures of the system and one of the cameras already installed, in case someone serves as a reference, soon I will make a video to see the functions.Thank you very much.Martin Lopez 5if you have computer / Tech skills then this is likely a good deal for you but only if you do I'm giving 4 stars only because this is a good deal for the money. However, I must make it clear that I had to do ALOT to get this working. When I received it from the vender, it lacked the correct firmware and required me to contact the manufacture and ask them for help in flashing the DVR with the new firmware.ZOSI was helpful and everything worked well. I then had a problem with one of the cameras going out and re-contacted the vender. They sent me a replacement camera right away and now all is good.In closing I would like to say that if you have computer / Tech skills then this is likely a good deal for you but only if you do... 5fantastic unit for the price.... but it died in second month Was pretty happy with 2 of these... but one died so not so happy now...I have set up many very expensive or what they call a professional DVR system... this unit is no more clunky than those and with four 3.5mm IR cameras this DVR it a true bargain.(cameras with cables alone could cost 30+ bucks each, so its cheaper to buy a 2nd DVR to get 4 more cameras, and it never hurts to have a spare unit, (if u get robbed its better the thief finds/takes another DVR rather than the one that has his pictures on it). Pix on a good monitor is crisp/clear. No hard drive supplied so unless u have one, its a price add on. Also no motion detect option, it records 24/7 so hard to find something unless u know time/date when it happened.But I keep going back to the one that crapped out in under 2 months..... 3DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT Absolute garbage. I wish I would have read the reviews of the Zosi View app in the IOS App store before purchasing them. The cameras themselves work great. It did not come with a hard drive, sometimes the ad says it does and sometimes it says it doesn't. I swear it said it did when I purchased them, but nope. But that's not the worst part. You can RARELY if ever remotely view your cameras. On the off chance that the app actually works, the quality is shady and they'll likely stop working after 30 seconds of viewing. I thought it was just me. I was going through all my network settings, opening ports, etc, etc... completely removed the firewall... still have the problem. Then I read the app reviews. I've been fighting with these things for nearly a year and just today realized what a colossal waste of time that has been. I always say, you get what you pay for. This is absolute proof of that. 1Five Stars Great Value. You will have to install a hard drive, installation is simple, but a bit tricky setting up my mobile device. The video quality and night vision is very clear and delivery was quick. The pictures taken were from an emachine monitor using my iPhone, A good system at an affordable price, also excellent Tech support. 5Great Package for the price! Great Value! Hooked them all up, No problems at all. Nightvision works well, good quality! DVR playback is a little different than most, but not bad. Getting it connected to the internet for streaming on mobile devices proved a bit tricky, but after a few youtube videos, got it to work! Great package for the money! I will update if I have a problem, but so far, 2 weeks into it, GREAT!Be prepared to buy extension cables if you have a large area you are covering. You can get them pretty darn cheap! 5Nice system The system is very easy to use. PLEASE NOTE: This one is without a hard drive, so when you buy it have a internal hard drive to install, which I had. Installation was very easy. My only complaint is we just found out that one of the cameras will not change into night mode. I have to call the company and see what they can do for us. I will try to update when that happens, Other than that I really like this system. 4
