Customer Reviews

One tool, not two!! The picture and description are TOTALLY MISLEADING. I thought I was getting TWO TOOLS!! I resent false advertising and I fault Amazon for not pulling it since other reviewers noted the discrepancy. Shame! 1Perfect size! I love this little square ruler. I use it to take size comparison pictures of my product that I sell on Etsy. It's the perfect size for what I need it for and looks much nicer than the gigantic scuffed up square ruler I had been using. I am super happy with it! 5A hobbyist square. One need be an idiot to be misled by this item. The dimensions of the square are clearly spelled out and it is most appropriate as a hobbyist tool, so you if you are marking and cutting much more than balsa and foam you are essentially in the wrong vicinity. As to thecdesvriotion including the triangle. The triangle entry mentions the square also, so the headline best describes the item on offer. 5Awesome little square for small projects/hobby work This is a very small square. I read some negative reviews for this tool and almost didn't order it, but suspected that those who are giving this tool a negative review are doing it for two primary reasons: 1. They didn't realize how small this square is and 2. They thought they were getting TWO squares for this price. It's an expensive square for what it is. It is thin, not thick like the type of square you would use in a wood shop. A lot of the people that ordered this square probably thought this was going to be a rugged, robust tool for heavy duty work. It isn't. It's a neat little square for small projects and hobby work. I don't have a $200 German square to compare it to, but for my purposes, this thing is pretty square (and accurate according to other metal rulers that I've put it next to).I just used it to make measurements to a small wooden box that I built, where I don't have room to use a large square to measure the rabbets I made with my router. Some have also said it's "way overpriced". Yea, maybe by a couple of bucks. How much do you expect to pay for a stainless steel 4" square? Fifty cents? I have found it online for as low as $9, but then there's shipping. If you've got Prime, this isn't a bad deal! 5Way Too Thin to be of much use around a shop. Extremely thin material. Mine measures .53 MM. Not even a mm thick. Being so thin I am sure it will not hold up well and will get bent. Also, with the material being so thin I can tell getting a pencil against it and keeping it there is going to be an issue. Also, I feel the description is a little misleading....you are only getting on square ...not two. I was going to return it but it isn't worth the effort.Update: 6/12/17Out of fairness I have come back and added 2 more stars. After reviewing the description I see that it listed as "Made from .022 thick stainless steel".... so it does state how thin it is......by bad. Also gave it back a star for being made in the USA. 3One of my most used patter tools. This thing is invaluable for doing any small work. I use it so often I don't even bother putting it up. I was worried that as thin as it is that it wouldn't be very sturdy, but I was wrong. Hardly any flex and has held up great to constant use. The image is a little misleading, you only get one. It's just showing you both sides of it. 5Useful little L square ruler As other people have said, I also thought there were 2 rulers in the package. The description specifically states, "L-Square and Triangle are made from .022 thick stainless steel with 3/32 measuring intervals and metric equivalents on back" so I thought I would receive a triangle as well. The product specifics state there is only one item in the package, so something needs to be corrected or updated. The price is standard, and I found the ruler very useful in my paper crafting projects. I especially appreciate the markings on the inside and outside of the ruler. 4Absolutely NOT square! Avoid at all costs! After receiving this, I immediatly checked it against the Wezu 150mm (6") Precision Wide Base Machinist Engineer Square (DIN 875/2 German Standard). I had the Wezu checked and it is within spec (actually better). When put against the Wezu, the Zona is absolutely not square - neither the outer nor the inner angles are 90 degrees. It is so out of square, as to be noticeable with the naked eye.The key job of a square, is to be square. If it fails at that, it fails 100% and everything else is irrelevant. This little "square" fails at being actually anywhere near square in a most spectacular fashion.Failing in its prime mission, it belongs in the garbage. What really shocked me is that the deviation is so massive as to be visible by the naked eye - and all of this over a 3-4 inch length! Repeat: over 3-4"! Astounding. You really have to work hard to fail over such a short span - so I guess congratulations to Zona for this accomplishment - didn't think it was possible. 1great size! these are fantastic. it is a great size. I use it when I make my metal jewelry. it's easy to use to square off metal sheets. I bought several so I can use them when I teach classes. 5Accurate and very usable ! Really like this tool I craft r/c model airplanes. And use this all the time in working with balsa or anything that I need to 'square'. A good product, a little expensive though. 5
