    Great Value Nice quality for a low price, sturdier than expected, very happy. 5It's small but perfect for light duty use. It's small, but it's perfect for what I need it for....small jobs! I have some small items I need to drill holes in and needed a vise to hold them and didn't want to spend a fortune so I went with this vise. It feels nice and heavy for such a small vise and the striking surface on the rear is actually pretty big! There is an adjustment lever on either side of the vise at the base and a standard lever at the end. There are also 4 bolt holes to mount it to a bench. All-in-all it's a decent vise for light duty use. However, I wouldn't recommend it for heavy duty fabrication. Something like that, you are going to want to spend a bit more money and get something really, really good! 4Very happy with this vice for the price. i like this vice. It installed onto my workbench easily and it's nice and tight. I use it to straighten bolts, hold things I'm cutting with my grinder, and occasionally for gluing wood together. I got a set of magnetic rubber jaw protectors which are working great for me. The anvil takes a pretty good bashing, too. 5Great vice for the money. Great vice for the money. Worked for everything I wanted it to hold. It's a vice for a DIY guy to hold projects in and works fine for that. I read one review where the owner was trying to hold an axe or hammer handle while he pounded a wedge into it the handle and it broke the vice. A $35 vice isn't going to work for this. He needs a $150 vice. Everyone else will get a lot of use out of this vice. 5Nice little vise. This vise is just something that can get the job done without breaking the bank. However it would be nice to include some bolt for mounting the unit. Another concern to me is that the template for drilling is not accurate but it is not really necessary to use the drill template anyways so it is not a huge down to me. 5Not a big workhorse but! Not like the big workhorse vices but a great little vise for the home workbench, a heavy well made little vise, that gets the job done for the smaller projects. 5It is what it is... A cheap vice. It is a vice. But I would recommend spending about double this amount to get a good quality vice. Would make good vice for gunsmithing or hobby. But applying a lot of torque to it... Forget about it. It slips, put a cheater pipe to snug the lock pins but still slips under heavy load. It gets the job done on the cheap, but if you need to do something heavy duty... Get a real vice. 3strong Very good vice.It is thick and look like it will last a long time 5Fine for the price. Use for light work. For light work, this $45 vise is a good deal. I have used it a few times, and it sure doesn't feel like quality when you screw it, but it holds things very solid. I got what I expected. 5One week past its return window to return a faulty product, the pot metal gives out Not sure if it was because it didn't seem to keep from turning when I would clamp down on something I was working on gluing together (two pieces of steel to each other with silicone) and after just two knocks with a rubber mallet all of a sudden it no longer is gripping. The project I'm working on has to be finished in a few days and well... this was just the beginning.I first purchased this for my job and they mentioned that it must be at least $60 and that the turning pin seemed pretty strong, but that's not what crumbled and now I know why it's so cheap, it's some kind of pot metal. I'm guessing that once again, a lot of these reviews for these cheap Chinese products are fake.You've been warned! 1
