    Works like the old one did before the old one failedWorks like the old one did before the old one failed. Initial indication was that it would take more than 30 days to arrive. Amazon helped reduce that to aout 15 days, still too long.Arrived in excellent condition in original package. Worked immediately after plugging it in. 3Good receiver, great range, specialized uses.These are fairly impressive little units. I have one currently setup in my basement, so my kids can see who's outside if we're not home. I was a little worried about the unit being abl to receive, but it's picking up 3 cameras that are upstairs and outside of a brick house, so I'm good.I will note, these X10's are decent equipment, but are for specialized uses. I have one for the kids, so they can quickly see without messing with my main security cameras. X10's are fairly expensive to setup in a system now, and should really be used for mostly a 1-2 camera system. The main problem is they have no security, they have no means to turn themselves on or off (motion/time detection), and they have dated resolution. The great thing is that they're as plug-and-play as you go, meaning you can't mess them up or miss tuning them in. This receiver can't scan through multiple cameras, it can just see who's broadcasting the strongest signal. You can - as we do on my multi-camera system - hook several cameras up at the corners of your house and "tune" the one you're pointing to in, but there's no way to either capture all four of them or have them switch automatically. 3X10 Camera Video Receiver, No Sound (Model VR36A)It works, or at least as well as any X-10 product ever does, which isn't saying much. 5very pleased.Hard to find item, very pleased. 5Works great.For monitoring the house. 5One StarDon't waste your money. 1Five StarsGreat Deal!
