    Let s chat!I am a fan. This works great with my work at home job. I purchased this because the old one I got from my company was uncomfortable and sometimes I couldn t hear people as well on certain calls. Don t have that problem with this one. I have never had to adjust the volume once. I also like the fact that I can hear myself when I m talking. If u don t like to hear yourself, u can adjust it to where u won t. There is a feature that u can either have it ring out loud or beep in your ear when u get a call which is also pretty cool. I actually use it sometimes when I m not even working. If it were wireless I Definately would use it all the time. The only reason I m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is very noticeable when I put myself on mute. My old headset no one noticed, on this one when I mute I always hear Hello? They think I hung up on them because there is a very noticeable click that happens on both ends. Other than that LOVE the headset! 4Nice setup but headset broke quicklyThis setup is very nice and good quality but the headset is mediocre quality and the cord under the mute switch is shorting out on me after only one week. I've asked the seller for a replacement. I will update this review when I get a response.UPDATEThey sent me a new headset. It took 3 days to receive. I am satisfied with the replacement but disappointed that the first one shorted out so quickly. I'm moving this rating up to 4 stars for now. If the headset lasts a while I will change to 5 stars for your fairly prompt response to my issue. I'd have moved you to 5 stars now if you had sent the headset overnight. 4So so product, great serviceI have digital service, and this phone is analog, so it wasn't compatible. I suggested the company should let customers know that so we don't waste our time purchasing this if it doesn't fit our needs. Love the concept though. And the headset was perfect. I almost kept the unit just for the headset alone. When I notified the company, they worked with me to figure out why it wasn't working, which is what I said above, and worked with me to be able to return the product. I received a refund promptly. 3Does what it's supposed toI started working remotely at my call center job and I needed something better than just a regular corded phone without a headset. I was surprised at the lack of choices for someone in my position. There were plenty of things for folks using business in-call-center grade phone systems, but next to nothing for folks on regular old phone lines like me, working from home.It works. I especially like the "auto answer" feature which rings calls right through to me as if I was in the office. Unfortunately, when the calls disconnect, I have to manually hang up. The volume isn't great, and every once in a while I get a "speak up please" from one of my customers, which is unusual for a big loud mouth like me. I'm also not fond of the lack of a mute button on the "keyboard." There's a mute switch on the headset, but it's awkward to get to. The flash button doesn't seem to work--the few times I've gotten call waiting cues from the phone, the flash button did not switch over.Between this and nothing, I choose this because it is infinitely easier than using what I had--my existing home (or cell) phone, with or without a headset. I even went past "It's OK" to "I like it" because it really really has made my work-at-home call center gig much easier. It's overpriced, but with the lack of competition I guess they can afford to be. If you're working a call center gig at home and are frustrated with using your existing setup, I say go for it. 4Works so much better than Plantronics T10What a difference. I wish I had just gone with this machine to start with. Plantronics T10 I got was terrible, not to mention it was more expensive as well. Everything about this one meets what I need except one thing. "Mute" button on the phone, not on the headset. If it'd come with that, it'd be a perfect one for me.Update: 5/14/2015 - The phone set suddenly died on me in the middle of my customer call. OMG! Totally bad... Only got a year use out of it, but it worked well until it died. :( Now I have to get a new one. 4Great quality telephone at a reasonable priceI bought this phone because I work from home doing telephone surveys. I had a phone from plantronics and it was horrible. The headset broke after a few months. This phone has a much nicer quality headset with an adjustable microphone. This phone is also quieter and does not have that annoying humming sound like the plantronics phone. 5Perfect for working at home!I searched forever to find the right thing for a work at home job. This meets all my picky expectations. The headset volume is a little low, but I think that's because the cushion is so thick, so you have to decide what's more important. I also got a 50ft phone line purchased separately with it, so I can actually walk all around my kitchen while working at home with this and didn't have to spend the money on a wireless system (which isn't even allowed for me to work at home for this company). The headset has a volume control, and mute, which most don't have. You need the mute function if you work at home. Enjoy it! 5I had to super glue the microphone piece back onto the headset a ...I work from home doing customer service calls for 2 different companies. I work anywhere from 9-12 hours 5 days a week and a few hours on the weekends. I have been using this phone system since May 2014 daily. Yes it's cheap especially the headset. I had to super glue the microphone piece back onto the headset a few months after I got it. The plastic split. That said to date that was the only issue I've had so far. Overall excellent phone system for the price. I haven't replaced the headset as of yet but if you work from home you know to have backup equipment, LOL This gets the job done. Perfect for the folks just starting out working from home and need a good basic headset this is it. If you have a much more expensive one and want a decent back up headset this is it. If you can't afford to get the one you want this is it. You just can't go wrong. Calls are crystal clear, no buzzing, humming via the headset. That is normally from the phone lines. I have noticed when folks call from cells phones sometimes it's not as clear. From landline to this no issues. I've called long distance and heard the person like they were next door. For the price point this is not too shabby of a phone system. It should pass all work from home companies as acceptable. I'm very pleased :) 4An absolute steal for the priceI paid ~$32 for this phone for a home office/call center job and it has floored me for the pricePros:Buttons are very responsive and big enough to not worry about missingHeadset seems to be constructed decently, padding is fairly comfortable on earpieceAudio quality is good enough for both the caller and the userInline mute button is perfect for long callscall history feature is very intuitiveRinger can either ring through headset or base unit by using a switch on the side.Cons:Headset stand is abysmal but is easily discarded (this accessory wasn't listed when I purchased the unit so I wasn't disappointed)Screen is not backlit, if you're working in a dark environment it can at times be hard to read, however this is not an issue to me as my company provides software to manage the call with.Has a built in hold button (not to be confused with the mute button on the headset cable) the hold music is HORRENDOUS. Do NOT use it if you value your customers patience.Still haven't sorted out the memory buttons.Ringer noise is slightly annoying, but not overbearing.Rating: 7.5/10I would definitely recommend this unit to others for the price, It is a great unit overall with few serious cons. Worth every penny. 5Only problem is with the volume controlAlthough I bought this last month, I wanted to wait until now to write my review. The only problem I have with this phone is that the incoming volume, depending on the call, can be too low, even with the volume control set on high.. I don't consider myself hard of hearing, but I was concerned about using this phone for work-from-home if I couldn't hear the caller. So, I did a lot of research and purchased the Clarity 10BK 50800.001 Walker In Line Amp - Black, which basically doubled the cost of the phone to $60+. However, I still consider this combo to be superior to the other headset phones offered on Amazon. And last - thanks to one of the answers about the mute switch. I discovered this switch was in the "On" position when, on my first call, the other person hung up when they couldn't hear me. 4
