    Same as they were 10 years ago! I was issued a pair of these when I got to Iraq in 2003. They were a Godsend there when dealing with sand storms, bright sun, and just everyday life. Now, 10 years later, I found myself needing a new pair of shooting glasses that would keep the dust and sun out without fogging up. These were what I thought of. As long as i dont tighten the strap too much, no fog, no dust, no sun. I love em! 5On my third pair, good stuff A bit big for my face; the goggle attachment doesn't make contact on the outside edges. It would probably fit better on someone with a rounder face, but I don't consider my head or face to be narrow.I bought my first pair so I didn't always need a helmet on my motorcycle. I've bought the last couple of pairs for spring skiing without full-face goggles. The work well enough that I don't go blind on a bright day and keep out enough air that I don't cry the whole time. 5What ever your need, these soldier on. Save for one ongoing issue and the tinting not being dark enough for bright sunny days, I can not praise these glasses enough.That one issue being, that the hinge point for changing the ear piece with the head strap will break quickly if you frequently swap them out. But, even after over 10 years of use, Wiley will still send me replacements several times per year free of cost. Excellent customer support.I use these for everything eye related: as safety glasses on the shop floor (they are ANSI approved), shatterproof eye protection on the range, motorcycling, sailing, skiing, etc. I even invested in having my prescription added to several replacement lens types. 4Fog Alert I purchased these goggles to protect my eyes during outdoor work activities such as mowing, weed eating or basically anything involving gasoline operated machinery. They look and feel great. If I were to wear them in an air conditioned environment without engaging in any physical activity they would be perfect but unfortunately they are terrible for working in warm weather conditions. They almost immediately begin to fog up to the point where I cannot even see out of them. If you re willing to wipe them out with a dry rag or piece of tissue every 5-10 minutes they re a great investment but otherwise I wouldn t suggest purchasing them. For the price tag these goggles should be flawless. I m extremely dissatisfied and if I could give 0 stars I would. 1Would have been 5 Star but the size is horrible. Seem like great sunglasses/goggles but they are sized for an Elephant. I have a big head and have trouble with most things being too tight, but these are way oversized. I seen another comment saying that their Wiley's were way too small so I'm wondering if they have terrible quality control on sizing. They fall off my head if I try using the temples. I can use the elastic strap to hold them on, but they're still do big and barely hang on to the tip of my nose. 3These have been one of the best purchases I have made for my motorcycle These have been one of the best purchases I have made for my motorcycle. I tried other riding glasses but was constantly fighting with my eyes watering from wind getting to them too much. With these, I do not have that problem. The tint on them is great. Even when it is a little dark outside... I can see very well. And when it's sunny, they block enough of the sun so that I am not squinting or anything. If something happens to these, I will definitely buy another pair. 5The best goggle/glasses. I've been wearing this model since 2003 and wouldn't switch for anything. They work great as all around sunglasses, motorcycle goggles, off roading, construction,... anywhere you could possibly want or need eye protection. WileyX also sells empty lenses for prescriptions. I highly recommend. 5Wiley X Sg-1 review These shades are very similar to the one's I was issued in the Army in 2004. I really like how they are VERY flexible because they won't crack and break like cheap shades you get at the local stores. I am hard on sun glasses and use them a lot and knowing they won't crack and break apart if I abuse them is very important to me. If you want functionality and reliability along with good looks you can't go wrong with these shades but I guess in the end it comes down to personal preference. 5Disappointing Poor design; does not fit snugly around my eyes and fogged up immediately at the range. Could not get them to clear up, eventually switched to my backups, an old pair of Pyramex I-Force goggles, which were less than half the price and still outperformed the Wiley X SG-1 in every way. Was let down by this product, have purchased other Wiley items in the past and have generally been pleased. Would not recommend these goggles for any application; as their tendency to fog and failure to properly fit could lead to adverse affects whether riding or using for safety purposes... 1Absolutely perfect! I did a couple of tours in Iraq and we were issued the same exact kind as this. You have no idea how much we benefited by having these. Kept the dust out, never fogged up (unless the strap was too tight), and kept the Sun out. I had them for years afterwards. Unfortunately, I lost them when I moved. Thanks to Amazon I was able to get a pair and once again use them for everything. From mowing yards, to shooting at the range, to cycling on a beautiful Sunday morning, there's nothing better in my personal opinion. 5
