I needed some old fashioned pliers and, this being Amazon, looked for something American made, and pliers a little larger than to only ones I can still find, which happen to be 6". These meet the description and are made as if the manufacturer cares about distinguishing American quality. 5Don't spend the money on these :-(Don't buy these for $16. They are no better than the cheap pliers we all grew up using. Their fit and finish is better BUT - when they are closed, the handles are nearly touching. Even when properly adjusted.Don't get me completely wrong, they aren't totally useless, but I feel a bit embarrassed having spent more on these, when they are *less* functional than standard Dollar Bin pliers.1Solid PliersSolid set of pliers, made in USA.The handles are comfortable to hold.Well machined, smooth all around, no pits or dents.Grip nicely, does not rattle.It has a hex screw that can tighten or loosen.The pliers can sit on the flat surface, and be completely flat, a nice feature.Really happy with the purchase.5Excellent Quality, worth the purchase ...Of the dozens of Slip-Joint pliers I've owned, these are the best.
