You have to installWorks great 1080 picture, and I never have to worry about the battery running out. It was very easy to install as well as download the app. Only thing that is missing is sound. I would purchase again. 5If only I could give more than five starsI have purchased two of these in the last three months and they are more than worth the price. They look exactly like a certain mainstream smoke alarm, _irst_lert, I mean spot on, even have the little green light when hooked up. Speaking of which, they are SO easy to hook up, even more so now they have this sonic install thing. You just connect the power, standard two wires, then in about a minute it blinks. You bring up the app, click through a couple screens and enter your Wifi password, then it starts emitting this series of clicks and beeps. It sort of sounds like it's going to send a fax or something, but then in another minute it connects and that's it!Took about 30 minutes to install including adding it to my third party monitoring software on my computer and adding the features and everything. But the actual install for the device is half that or less, seriously it's easy. But better than that is their customer service, all I had to do was ask if they could install a 940nm filter, and they contacted their suppliers, got one, and installed it for me then sent me my new device. Holy cow is that amazing, now I can use my smart led bulbs with IR with them which is truly awesome.So I've had the original one for three months, totally working great, the setup is longer than the newer sonic, but it's been working great. Even moved it about after getting the new IR version and had no problem hooking it back up. You can't go wrong with this company. 5Good product, EXCELLENT supportGood quality product and fast shipping. Setting it up was not so straight forward primarily due to my wireless router at home. However the support is AWESOME. I sent a text message to the U.S. phone number provided on the manual and I got a call back within a few minutes! The gentleman was very knowledgeable and stayed with my case until my issue was fully resolved. Highly recommended! 5Nice clarityOwner (?) was very responsive. Written instructions would have eliminated the need for most of the basic dialogue. S/W / H/W is buggy, 30% of motion alerts result in no pictures. Work-around exists in using an old cell phone dedicated only to this app, to capture the images continually by keeping the app open. 4Great camera and incredible customer serviceOk, first the product itself. This thing is amazing. I have another spycam and the quality of the picture is noticeably better on this one. It is easy to install and integrates with the app pretty much flawlessly. I did have an issue which required service from the vendor while I was installing it however. Something I screwed up.The most amazing thing is that I installed it on New Years Eve afternoon and sent an email to SCS at about 5 that afternoon. Mark, from SCS actually called me at 8:30 PM on NY Eve and quickly walked me through the fix. The Camera itself would garner a 5 star review.. Received the device way ahead of the scheduled delivery date. The customer service representative is very attentive, answers all your questions, and even text or call you if necessary. The quality and look of the device was outstanding. The representative even suggested to modify the device to lower the camera angle at no additional cost. Haven't connected it yet, so I'll update my review after it starts its function. The package was very sturdy and well protected.
