    Perfect Perfect! I suggest buying paint for this, it makes it look more like wood. By itself it does just look like a cheap plastic piece, now with the paint on it you can't tell. Also got it cheaper here than the big box store. 5Five Stars It makes a great ceiling accent to my newly installed fan. 5Five Stars Love it! 5Nice for a light fixture or small ceiling fan, not for larger fans. I really liked the look of this medallion but it was just too small for the fan we installed in the kitchen. We bought a larger one for there. It just happened I was getting ready to install a nice stained glass fixture over the dining room table. For that, it was perfect. I painted it with Rustoleum hammered bronze paint and it looks great. I actually spray painted it black and used some gold rub and buff on the edges to give it an oil rubbed bronze look. It took the paint well and still would have been beautiful if we had left it white. 5Five Stars Item as described 5Disappoinment With Westinghouse Ceiling Medallion It is made of semi-flimsy plastic much like the white plastic lids that go on "to go"coffee cups. Expected something more substantial but used it because the electrician was here to install the fan. It did cover the area I wanted covered! 2
