Extensions of your hand...You're RoboCop! Screwdrivers. We all have hundreds of them. Good ones, bad ones. Some were given to us, others bought at flea markets or the dollar store. They are used as pry bars, punches, gasket scrapers, tent stakes, and even sometimes to accidentally jump the positive and negative terminals on your car battery (these are the screwdrivers that become "bad ones"). We toss them into a tool drawer, a big pile of them, laying there all mixed up like a basket full of snakes. They deserve better. You deserve better.You deserve these screwdrivers.I'm not a professional mechanic or lineman or oil rig operator or any other occupation to give me serious street credibility. Being a cowboy would be fun. But, I know a good tool when I'm using it, and these screwdrivers are fantastic. I've seen them for years--with the odd shaped handle and funny name, but just recently bought some for myself and I've been loving them.First off, those funky handles: They feel great in the hands. I've got sasquatch hands, so for me they could be a teeny bit bigger, but they still feel great. Imagine having a screwdriver handle that starts off as just a chunk of clay and molds to your hand. Actually, I imagine that's how they probably came up with the design.The laser etched tips are magical. It's like having the suckers of a giant squid on the tip of your screwdriver helping to hold the fastenser. I was recently removing a stubborn rusted license plate screw and just knew that it was going to mangle itself to pieces when I tried to remove it, but the laser-etched tip bit and gripped like a wolverine (with squid suckers) and the screw came out unharmed.And those sneaky Germans even included a nice holder for the drivers that doesn't fit into any of my drawers so I have them mounted on the underside of the top lid of my tool box so you always see them when the lid is open (which is all the time). They're kind of like, "Hey! Look at me! Sexy screwdriver over here!"They're a little bit more expensive than you run-of-the-mill screwdrivers, but cheaper than some of the real high-dollar tool truck brands--but I think these are worth every penny.Pick up a set, you know you want to. 5You need these drivers! Never heard of Wera till i saw a reviw on Youtubez. I soooo missed the quality-train on anything Wera! These are great drivers! totally hesitated to pick these up but am glad and very happy with them!love these features:-comfort: Fits my hand great! i have smallish hands with long fingers, these drivers fit swell and gives me a ton of torque with comfort-laser etch tips: thought they were gimicky till i tested them out. super nice! i got screwdrivers hanging off the screw, even a flathead!-embossed lettering: the butts are embossed with gold lettering to help identify them. a few of my current drivers just use ink and those rub off-fit and finish: super nice! nothing crooked, lettering all nice, nice quality finish... i normally dont give screwdrivers any thought but these impressed me a bit that i had to leave a review. i've never seen screwdrivers come in nicer packaging! Its like the apple products of tools with their packaging. ended up saving the box; thats a first for me!things i disliked:-the screwdriver holder; kinda waste of space for me, didnt like how they looked and couldnt find a nice spot to put them around my workbench/toolbox. will be looking into some magnetic trays for them.overall, really love them. now they got me looking into other Wera drivers so i can replace my other screwdrivers 5Very nice Love these i am an electrician and usually use a drill, but when I have to use a screw driver these are nice. The handle shape and size I notice have a good shape and size that give a slight edge on torque allowing to break loose or tighten nice. The tips especially the laser ones really help not to strip out the head of the screws. One last thing I noticed that these also help fight wrist and forearm fatigue allowing me to use these longer without discomfort. 5Excellent set of screwdrivers. After Wiha discontinued, possibly the best technician's screwdrivers ever made, the dynamic series. I came across these by Wera as I was searching for a new brand. I bought several of these after looking at the different styles they have. I have been really impressed by the quality and durability of these by Wera, they are my new favorite. The grip is the right size to put a little torque on the screws when needed and also comfortable enough to use all day. The laser etching on the tip is an excellent addition and helps hold it in place better--doesn't roll out of the slot as easy, especially the phillips tip The 335 series (cabinet tip) is the model you want for working in control panels, (there are three in this set) as the tip stays the same width, for recessed screws in terminal block, components, etc. If your looking for a tough, durable, ergonomic new set of electronics/controls screwdrivers look no further. 5I absolutely LOVE it. The LaserTip is a brilliant design that ... I got mine for just over $35 delivered, and I have to say; I got WAY more than what I paid for. Metalurgically these a screwdrivers are VERY strong and will take a lot of abuse. The odd grip really works, I absolutely LOVE it. The LaserTip is a brilliant design that REALLY works. If you work on old motorcycles like I do, the #2 LaserTip Phillips is worth the price of the entire set; and you'll fee it pays for itself time and time again. These are the screwdrivers I reach for when I know a fastener is going to be a challenge. With normal screwdrivers, when you get a "challenge" what you often end up with is a stripped screw head, and a long string of obscenities. The Wera just digs in, holds tight, and loosens the fastener with no drama...what more do you want from a screwdriver? To my eye, given what I work on (motorcycles mostly, but some cars), the Wera Kraftform with LaserTip is the best screwdriver money can buy.I would love to see long sets available (if they are, I haven't found them), or more comprehensive sets (10-15 piece sets). And I think they would be well advised in adding a hard handle option because not everyone likes the softer "comfort" handles.As for supplier performance. My order was shipped promptly, it arrived in tact. The screwdrivers were well packaged, and in perfect condition when I opened the package. So 5 stars for supplier performance as well. 5Wow, I am an idiot..... I went through life thinking a screwdriver is a screwdriver is a screwdriver, Man was I WRONG! The bite these screwdrivers have is unlike anything I have ever held or used before. Normally a Phillips head is a sloppy fit but not with these Wera, it is tight with ZERO wiggle room. You know how when you are done driving a screw and the screwdriver pulls out or falls out of the groove with no resistance? That doesn t happen with the Wera screwdrivers. You actually have to give a little tug to remove the head from the screw slots. What a GREAT purchase! 5A nice step up from the basic (black handle) versions I purchased a set of the Wera Kraftform basic screwdrivers a few years ago. I liked how they fit in my hand, and how the grip allowed for more leverage. I wasn't happy with the tips though. They were the same tips I had on my Stanley and Craftsman screwdrivers. The black oxide coating seemed to slip more than just plain chromed steel.When the Plus version was on sale (for less than I paid for the basic ones!), I jumped on the deal. The lazer tips are awesome. They really do dig into the screws better. The only issue I have is that the smaller sizes do not have the lazer etching. Also, the grips do feel better, but I'm curious to see how the rubbery (green) portion holds up over time.Note that these are *not* made in Germany (like the Felo or Wiha equivalents), but I like the grips on these better than any other screwdriver set I've had (compared to SK, Facom, Wiha, Craftsman, etc.). 5Missing a driver, not exactly as described. Box was missing the #2 Phillips driver. Wera should consider sealing the boxes once they leave the factory so that it's not so easy to lift a screwdriver. Anyone along the distribution chain could have taken it before Amazon shipped it to me. Will have to exchange the set and wait for replacement, as I tried to reach out to Wera product support via Amazon and got no response. Would prefer that they send me the missing driver rather than have to go through the hassle of boxing it up and finding somewhere to drop it off. As it is, I'll now have to wait another 2 days past the original Prime guaranteed delivery to begin using these tools. But that's just whining, I know.As for the drivers, they feel good in the hand, and the laser tips appear to have nice friction. I'm not going to drive any screws with this original set since it's going back, but some light testing suggests that the tip will bite into the screw head pretty well. Note that the smallest flat driver is not laser etched.Also, while the product description says that the "screw symbol and tip size" is etched on the handle, and the image on the box suggest that is true as well, that is actually not the case. The flats have yellow number and circle, the phillips have red number and circle, but the screw symbol is not there. They are actually pretty ugly. (Yes, I realize now, zooming in, that this is how they're depicted on the product pictures.) Not sure how durable those markings will be. Running my thumb nail across one of them appeared to scratch off a very small amount of the yellow. Was hoping those marking would be recessed rather than just painted on the surface of the handle. 2A world of difference in electronics work After using cheap screwdrivers to disassemble electronics for a long time, I recently upgraded to these Were Kraftform and haven't looked back since. The price seemed a little high compared to other screwriter sets but when they came in the quality of them made me realize that they are an insane deal.As soon as you hold them in your hand the ergonomic design make it feel like an extension of your body, and the shape and rubber grip pads really allow to apply a lot of torque when needed. When fast turning the handle the top spins smoothly on your palm while your fingers have the perfect place to grab and spin. There's also flat spots on the hilt so it never rolls far out of reach.The shaft, rather than being bright polished chrome, has a flat look to it. What the intended purpose of this is I don't know, but in my case I'm filming electronics repairs, and the non-glaring finish makes it camera friendly.For the business end, these tips will put even the famous tool truck brands to shame. They're perfectly shaped for a great fit, shot blasted, and laser etched. They even went so far as to angle the laser etching to make it reverse biased, so it really grips when backing out a stubborn screw.The selection of tips is good, though I doubt the large slotted will see much use on my bench, but between this set and the Wera precision set everything I need is close at hand.If you're going to be using a screwdriver on a daily basis, I can't recommend these enough. 5These don't slip out I got myself a set of these a while back and they are excellent. I can twist the head of a screw before they slip or cam out. Used them for a while now and they hold up fine. I have had a couple of Wera screw drivers for about 18 years now in my tool bag and they are still ok, so I thought I would give these a try.I use these tools every day to make a living , so they don't just sit around and look pretty.I do not have any afiliation with the company, I do appreciate good tools though and thought I would mention these as I know how frustrating it can be to mess around with crappy screw drivers. Who here has not stabbed themselves in the hands when those things slip undoing a hose clamp?These are screwdrivers. Says so on the box. Not pry bars, not cold chisels , not center bunches.They are not what for poking through the cured plug in yer caulk gun, stirring paint of fishing the last bit of grease out of a cartridge.SCREW DRIVERS. If ya don't know the difference between the mentioned tools, don't buy them. 5
