Can't get through my work day without this!This has been a great purchase and worth every penny! I purchased a laptop last year for work but it only had 3 USB ports and 1 HDMI. I got nervous because I have a lot of accessories plugged in and needed the ability to expand my monitor. This has been the best solution! And I love that when I pack up my laptop at the end of the week to take home, I'm not unplugging a lot of cables, it's just 2! USB and Audio. I have recommended this to all of my colleagues!5Works well and good customer serviceWe use this docking station/port extender to connect a laptop to an external keyboard/mouse and two monitors. Not a particularly complicated configuration and had no issues with getting the configuration to work immediately in win10. We ordered the white version. It came without a vertical base. Emailed customer service, they sent a base (which only comes in black). Why replace the old on? It was constantly needing to be unplugged and re-plugged to work. Not sure why!5Perfect solution for multiple computersI have a Dell docking station at work for my company-issued laptop, but was frustrated because every time I had to bring my computer home to work, I had to disconnect all of my peripherals from my home computer and plug them into the work computer. My son also has a laptop for school, and as one would expect all of the laptops are different brands, so a proprietary docking station was not a viable solution. On a whim, I typed in "universal docking station" (I didn't know there was such a thing but worth a try), and voila! This is the magic device I needed. Each computer still needs to be plugged into its own power source, but everything else is plugged into this device. To switch out computers, there is just one cord that you disconnect from one computer and plug into the other. Connected to this device, I have two external monitors, the WiFi router, an external mouse and keyboard, and speakers. This makes the transition from one computer to the other simple, seamless, and hassle-free. I highly recommend this product for anyone who needs to juggle from one computer to the other based on user and task.5Works well. Also using every single usb input on the link doesn't sacrifice anything! Make sure you use a USB 3 port or you will have issues.. But other than that WOW!!! Couldn't be happier, my laptop was more powerful than my (now dead) desktop anyway.. And yes it works with Mac :D5Not worth the moneyIt is very lightweight (also known as flimsy) but seemed to work fine for what I needed. I noticed that pretty regularly I had to unplug and replug cables to get them to work properly. Sometimes there would be screen distortions. Both annoying but I could live with it. Then a couple of months in, it just stopped working altogether and I'm going to have to replace it.2
