I did connect them to a Soundstream PN4.520D The sounded good and when I bridged the amp the speakers handled it with no problem. 5Good productThe Pyle 6.5" Led tower speakers seem to be a good product. I will update this review once I get the speakers installed on my boat. I have hooked them up to a home stereo receiver. These speakers are good for midrange/hi frequencies. They do not produce a strong deep bass. That was as expected - these are the type of speakers to be aided by a separate subwoofer for bass. I thought I had a problem initially with the Led lights so I opened up one of the speakers to see if any connections were loose - the driver inside is very basic, not a large magnet, very thin gauge wiring (24awg maybe) connecting to the external speaker leads. I have a pair of Wetsound 8" speakers and have had them apart to do a small repair, and they are night and day different in construction (way more heavy duty, large magnets, probably 12awg wire inside, etc). But those cost $400 each speaker, while these are $110 a pair. You get the idea. I tested the Led light function by temporarily connecting one to a car battery. The light function is pretty neat, multiple colors, multiple functions. Overall I would recommend these speakers as an inexpensive mid/hi compliment to an existing tower system. Not sure I would hook them up to anything stronger than the speaker leads from a head unit (ie not real sure how they'd hold up to amplified power). I only plan to connect the head unit direct. 42 years on boat. Not load though2 years on my pontoon. Still work, not quite load enough for boat though 4Best speakers for golf cartsAwesome on my golf cart. Sounds good for what they have to work with (golf carts have zero acoustics obviously) and they look cool. 5Deep bass and crystal clear highsDeep bass and very clear highs. LEDs do alot of different dances. Very sturdy. Only comes with one power cord for led hookup that's why not 5 stars. Easy to make one but shouldn't have to. Speakers are very good. Nice product. Remote is really cool. Great sounds!! Ran with a Memphis MXA4.45 240watt amp bridged on 2 channels. 4
