Perfect Replacement I've got a variety of glass for my Nikon cameras. Some of it is Nikkor glass dating from the earliest pre-AI lenses to the latest AF-G lenses. I've also got a plethora of third party glass from a similar variety of vintages. Only the latest edition of Nikon's own rear lens caps seems to work properly with everything. Some of the other options, including AF-D era Nikon rear lens caps are very loose on some or all of my glass. So it was kind of annoying that only the really expensive new caps worked as they should.Enter these little beauties. For about the same cost of a single genuine lens cap, I bought a 5 pack of these and they work *perfectly* with every lens I own. I'm sorry Nikon, but I won't be buying any more of your stupidly overpriced pieces of plastic. Had you put a small premium on them, I would have gladly paid. But since these suffice perfectly for 1/5th of what you charge, I will happily buy these every time.Highly recommended. 5Quality product which seems to be as good or better than the original Nikon caps. I'm guessing these "knock-offs" might even be from the same mold as the original Nikon caps. Generally, I purchase name-brand items almost all of the time unless there is no appreciable enhancement of quality or function. After researching and reading other reviews, I purchased these because they seemed to be at least as good or similar for a savings.I have other original Nikon rear lens caps, and possibly because of age and use, they don't fit as snug anymore. But these fit perfectly on all of my Nikon lenses (and others) and convey a feeling of security that they will seal out some level of dust, moisture, or contaminants of any kind.The plastic material appears to be a quality ABS material...nothing cheap or inferior has been observed so far.I don't mind the missing Nikon name and Nikon has made many thousands of dollars from myself and through my recommendations over several decades.If you want a quality lens cap for a great price, I don't think you can do better. 5As Good as OEM Great caps. Cleanly made, they fit perfectly and they STAY attached, which is more than I can say for some other knock-offs I've tried. I wasn't about to pay for Nikon-branded caps and these are definitely as good as any Nikon OEM cap I have laying around. Shipping from China to Southern California took about ten days; can't really complain about that. Will probably order more since I lose rear caps at a rate of roughly one a week it seems... 5Great rear lens caps Great rear lens caps. This rear lens caps work perfect and I have a strong tendency to lose my lens caps so I took a chance on these and was a little worried because of the price point. Wow have I been impressed. These are great quality plastic and do their job protect my lens. I am less worried about losing one of these lens caps than my Nikon lens cap but funny thing is I have yet to lose one. I will eventually be ordering more once I lose the first batch which knowing me will happen. I am glad I found a great item that does a great job for a great price. 5Overall good buy. Fit is reasonably tight, material used is average. Needed lens rear cap cover for my D7100/D7200 Nikon DX series lenses as well as original FX lenses.Some of previous purchases from elsewhere were bit too loose when placed on the lens, and wouldtwist and fall of on their own in the camera case. These rear lens caps seems secure and madeof average plastic material that seems durable enough for the purpose of being a cap. I have used themon various lens 10-20, 18-200, 35, 50, 90, 500mm both mirror and Tamron lens and others. All of theselens fit properly with these lens cap. For the price they are recommended. The plastic material used islittle bit less quality than the Nikon original rear cap, but not by much. 4Work well Third party lens caps are hit or miss. In the past, I have gotten some brands that do not even stay on. These fit pretty well, but do not twist on as much as original Nikon LF-4's so gives the feeling of not being as secure. However, they feel much better than the old style Nikon LF-1's. Cosmetically not as nice as Nikons, but work well. 4Great strong product that is no different then name brand other than the fact that their much thicker for better protection !! Showed up right when I needed them most !! Love these caps cause they fit on all my Nikon.Nikkor,Sigma, Tamron, ect. rear lens connections. Very nice thick strong plastic, for great protection, and product is no different, if not better than name brand , especially for the cheap price and the quantity you get for that cheap price !!! Mostly there's a lens on each body, but I still want the caps to hand in case I want to strip it down all the way, so they have a good chance of going missing. Some people claim there is a huge difference in quality. Those must be some pretty anal retentive individuals, because I am not seeing it. The original Nikon caps may turn just a little more when tightening them down onto the back of your lenses, but you really have to pay close attention to notice the difference.Do yourself a favor and pick up 5 of these. What a cheap way to protect your valuable glass. 5Fit Perfectly These are some really nice caps! They even fit a bit more snug than the originals (which I kept losing BECAUSE they were loose!) so they don't have a tendency to fall off.They are a great buy for the price. 5
