    Recording errorsI corroborate the first reviewer's description. However, this problem seems to be endemic with DVD+RW discs. I use a JVC combo DVD recorder to record late night programming for viewing during the next day and my first batch of discs (Sony brand) had this problem - some of them worked fine for a while then failed while others failed right from the beginning. I decided to try a different brand and bought a spindle of these (30 count) and they worked perfectly for over 2 years, then started failing (though about half are still good). I decided to buy another 30 count spindle since I was quite satisfied with the first. I was amazed to find that they were not much better than the Sony discs - only about 1/3 of the spindle worked perfectly - the rest were just as described in the previous review - the first half of the disk worked most of the time, the last half none of the time.Just to confirm the problem wasn't the JVC real-time recorder, I tried one of the discs on my computer DVD writer and that confirmed the disc was the problem. The write phase completed successfully, but the verify could not read many sectors. 2poor quality recordings by end of each discEvery disc I have tried so far in this 10 pack seems to show rather extreme degradation by the end of the disc (i.e., my recordings are ok until I get to the hour and half point and then pixelation occurs and even total loss of picture stability. I have communicated with the seller about this. I realize i will not get a refund but i thought I d mention this problem because I was asked to write a review.Dan 2
