My computer no longer has a functional CD player and so in order to get some redundancy on my novels, I keep them on these. My previous outboard hard drive went down and if not for my collection of disks, I would have lost a great deal of my digital copies of early novels. 4Excellent product, brand and price! Can't find these in any office supply store! I'm so happy that these disks are still available for purchase! I have a whole box somewhere that I can't find, so I had to order more. These seemed to be the best buy for the amount of disks that I needed and a good brand name. They were in the original wrap, so they were new as was stated. I've already used one, and it works just like it should. I have an old Sony Mavica camera and I find it easier to use, and it takes better pictures than any of the other newer digital cameras that I have. Maybe the others are just too technically advanced for me?! If I need more, I will definitely buy from this seller again! 5very fast and perfect disks I love these disks.I wish the manufacture still continued these disks because I think that they are about the best.They work perfectly with more than one floppy drive and write and format well.The disks acess very fast with no lost data.I used only office depot brand floppy disks.These disks make me want to change brands 5Is your technology from the 90s, have no fear here s some floppy disks Cutting edge technology, super high capacity (a whole 1.44MB)!! Who needs gigs when you can have a 10th of that in a floppy? Buying these will reassure you that you are embracing the future and somehow, some way, you just know that floppy disks are going to make a come back. I highly recommend these to people who like to lie to themselves and believe they are staying up with the times, people who hate change, people who once understood technology but quit paying attention to it in 1993, time-travelers from 1993, and people who still think DOS is the bees-knees and won t upgrade past Windows XP for fear of losing DOS.To you A: drive lovers or people like me who have to buy these things for departments who are stuck in the 90s, these are the only floppies I can find anymore and they work. 5Excellent quality discs for a fair price I hadn't bought floppy discs in years but recently had a "computer emergency" which necessitated a purchase. Since the floppy is long since an obsolete technology they are not as easy to find as in times past. (The guy at Best Buy laughed at me when i asked about an external floppy drive.) At any rate I was happy to find these Verbatim discs for a good price and I only had to buy 10. They appear to be fresh and of high quality and have performed flawlessly so far. When my wife purchased an embroidery machine that used floppy disks, I wondered what decade I went back to. Thankfully these were available. I've used them and ordered more. Not a bad disk in the box and works well to transfer designs from the computer to the embroidery machine. 5Don't buy these Many files would not transfer to these floppies. I even reformatted (using Windows 10). No difference. Error message. Other floppies accepted files just fine. Had to conclude the reason these have been discontinued by the manufacturer is that they are no good. 1Not great Make sure you do verification of files you copy onto these! Half or more of the floppies had several bad sectors. 3My batch all failed as of Dec 2015 first use Not sure if bad batch, or just bad storage location for inventory; all disks failed to write properly and consistently on two different USB floppy drives. Switched to box of Imation disks I had bought couple years back. worked first time as in past. Had bought this box for backup of music instrument files and was going to use "one box" for the project -- none of these worked for my purposes, either writing to/from Windows or from the music device; so can't recommend this particular batch. Nothing against the seller. 1
