    My all-time favorite headphones for transcribing and monitoring audio! I love these headphones. I've been using them for a lot of years. This pair didn't hold up for me with limited use and eventually shorted out on me on one side; however, I have another pair at work and several coworkers who love these too, and everyone loves them! 5Didn't work for my high standards I have been a court reporter since 1992, and I know my way around a good set of headphones for transcription. My older set stopped working, and the ratings for this were good, so I gave it a try. I was very disappointed with the clarity and crispness of the sound. It was like listening to a 1950's transistor radio -- scratchy, muted, a lot of hiss, etc. So I returned them. Life is too short to be knocking yourself out trying to hear/understand what people are saying. I don't have time for that. 1these are great! got this for transcription editing for my job. have great sound, love the volume control on the line, but my favorite part is the fact that they don't have to go on top of my head and the just sit kind of at your ear and don't actually go in and that they don't cover the entire ear. i have several pairs of earphones and buds, but this has turned in to be my favorite. may end up getting another pair so i can have a set hooked directly into the computer and the other one hooked up to my digital recorder. . i like these so well, that instead of keeping a different pair hooked up to the recorder, i keep transferring these from one to the other as needed due the great sound i get. 5Best headset I love these headsets; have several of them. 5not a replacement but a less than good substitute. I uses these headphones along with a pocket talker, also sold by Amazon, that works very well in movies and lectured. It would be good if the pocket talker was stereo and the volume could be adjusted for each ear. 5Great product! For the price, these work great! They really do deliver stereo sound and if you're watching an old movie you can switch to monotone. I like the volume control on it too, because sometimes the volume control via YouTube or my computer does not accomplish the volume I need. 5Wish the earpieces were more comfortable. Some people have smaller ears, and I am one of them. They start to kill my ears after a few hours, and I type for many hours a day. But the concept is awesome and I love these way more than an over the head headset. 4Excellent transcription headset. As a medical transcriptionist, I need a headset that is comfortable and has good quality sound. This is the one. Had the exact one before, used it for years before it broke so ordered the same one, knowing the quality. 5My favorites! These make your movies really come to life!! Great headphones, very reliable and good sound for transcription. I purchased a set like this one from another company and had to send them back twice because the sound cut out. Don't worry about that with the Spectra. Just make sure you realize how short the cord is. This cord reaches from the plug in the back of my computer, across the top of my desk without a lot of extra, which works fine for me because the longer cords always got stuck in my chair wheels or got wrapped up in my dog, who likes to sit under my desk while I work.I highly recommend this headset. 4
