    I really want to like it, I love the idea and the materials but it's not for meI really want to like it, I love the idea and the materialsbut it's not working for meif I make it a bit tight, then it becomes difficult to move my fingers to move to the shutter or my thumb to use the diel (and quickly I start feeling my fingers are hurting me, it reminds me of using a bad keyboard for long times)if I make it loser, it feels wrong and I still need to hold the camera well all the time, which define the purpose to make holding the camera less stressful 1The #1 Reason My Camera Is Not Lost In the Puget SoundIt does what it is advertised to do and does it well. Dropping the camera is nearly impossible with this on, and if you do somehow manage it, then the wrist strap will insure it doesn't get away from you. I've taken and used it on several Whale-Watching Expeditions, and loved knowing that my camera wouldn't end up in the drink even with the various surprises, getting knocked about by stumbling people on the boat, and the boat occasionally lurching unexpectedly.Slipping your hand in-and-out of it is a slight effort--whether that is because it is just that secure or because my hands are large I'm not certain but there you go. After using it a few times I am not fond of it being attached to the tripod mount. This adds yet another safety--of course--but I really was not fond of it as it makes it slightly cumbersome for me to get in and out of. I'm also very OCD about some things, and the squishyness (that's a scientific term) of the piece on the back of the hand would cause it to twist and gnarl a bit meaning I would have to spend time unfurling and flattening it back out--something that for me is mildly frustrating. 4Love it--converts to use with or without wrist strapRecently I bought a Black Widow Spider holster kit and quickly realized that I needed a hand strap to go with it. I've never particularly like a neck strap and looked through many types of hand straps before coming to this one. I'm so happy with it, especially as I can use it with and without the wrist strap. It easily adjusted to my hand size and will let me easily attach or detach the wrist strap. 5Camera connect strap too shortI read all the reviews and decided to take a chance on ordering, the product arrived on November 14, 2017. I was disappointed to see that the strap that connects to the camera mount points had about 0.5 inches of slack and when I connected the straps to the camera, the fit was too tight for my hand and I don't have large hands (approximately 4 inches wide by 1.25 inches thick). I cannot write about the tripod mount because I haven't tried to connect to a tri/monopod, I don't use them that much anyway. The main purpose of buying this product was to help prevent from dropping my Canon 6D Mark II with L lens while out and about being a tourist. I am trying to contact the support folks to see if a longer strap is available through them. I will update my review rating if and when I contact the support folks and what they can do for me. The camera connect strap needs to be another 3 inches longer, in my opinion.UPDATE: I registered the product, went to the support page, and started a support chat. After a short while, I was connected with a support person and I asked if they had longer camera connection straps, I was told no. I know this is an inexpensive product, but I would have given it 5 stars had they made the camera connection strap much longer. The owner can always make it shorter, we can't make it longer. I will be returning it and reluctantly wearing a neck strap full time. 1Quality material Quality made.You will need to adjust this so you can get to your shutter button. One of the photo shows it when I have it tight but my finger is restricted by the strap when it s tight. Also using this without the wrist strap doesn t make it feel secure. The padding doesn t hug the back of the hand with out it because of the padding s design and where the strap runs through. You will not be able to use the vertical shutter release on an extended grip. I will keep this for when I don t use the extended grip but will purchase a neck or shoulder strap. 5but once attached and sized it fits perfect. The wristband can be attached one-handed as they ...Very tricky to get the top attachment threaded(the grip gets in the way when you try to draw slack to work with), but once attached and sized it fits perfect. The wristband can be attached one-handed as they mentioned, attaches and releases from the grip easily, and gives a solid sense of security that the camera is safe. The passthrough on the tripod attachment is great, I personally used it to stack another anchor(for a shoulderstrap), so my camera is ready for any occassion; I can use the shoulderstrap+grip, or use the quickrelease on the shoulderstrap(an item sold separately if it wasn't clear) and attach the wristband of this item for a snag free shooting experiece. This was my plan from the time I placed the order and it worked out great. 5Nice wrist strap and you *CAN* use shoulder strap WITH IT!Have been wrapping my Nikon D750 shoulder strap around my wrist so figured I'd be better off with a wrist mount. Found that you *CAN* use the shoulder strap WITH this just by adding a small carabiner clip into the shoulder strap mount (yes, there's enough room). That way if you want to remove the wrist strap, unscrew the tripod mount, unclip the carabiner and it's gone. No more weaving the round spring ring out of something. And slipping the shoulder strap thru the arm band and closing the Velcro around it keeps the shoulder strap from dangling around and getting caught on stuff. Also, a little deceiving when the strap has "USA GEAR" embossed on it but the sticker on the tripod mount says "MADE IN CHINA".... 4Functional but,...I use this with my Sony A7iii. This item makes holding the camera very secure. It also is very comfortable to hold the camera when used together (hand and wrist grip) I tried using the hand grip by itself but somehow it does not lay comfortably in my hand. It either seems too loose or is not really aligned comfortably with my hand. By the way, I am a medium size male. I did notice however that when doing photo sessions and I had to adjust my external light I would find myself detaching from the wrist grip so that I could free my hand. The process became cumbersome. So in conclusion, I would use this item perhaps when going out and shooting natural light and maybe use a belt camera holder or an over the shoulder strap for professional shoots when external lighting is involved or when you will be needing to free up your hands. 3Overall the strap fits my hand nicely, however the bottom screw plate is of a ...Overall the strap fits my hand nicely, however the bottom screw plate is of a ridiculously poor design. In order to mount my camera to my tripod I have to detach the bottom plate. I will have to modify it (flatten it with a hammer) to make it work. 2I should ve read the reviews.this might be all right for a point-and-shoot camera being used by a child, this will not work with the camera with a battery grip the strap is way too short and they don t have a longer one available that s number one, number two the adapter that allows you to connected to a tripod is unless you will have to beat it flat with a hammer so you can make the connection, number three The pad around your hand makes it so that you can t access any of the controls on the right side of the camera maybe the shutter but but not for very long as the strain will cause you to take it off. Always read the reviews ladies and gentlemen, I know this didn t cost very much sometimes you get your hopes up thinking how badly could They screw this up, will buy it and find out. 1
