Awesome Exactly what we needed, we have an L shaped yard and no lights on the back of our house to see our dogs in the yard at night. These four lights lit up our yard perfectly. They are motion sensored so they don t stay on all night bothering our neighbors. They install quick and easy. They don t turn on during the day wasting the solar life. The suggested charging time is 2-3 days but they started working as soon as it got dark same day that we got them. Highly recommend! 5These are awesome! Even better than I expected! I wanted some light for the backyard when using my smoker, the barbecue, grabbing some lettuce from the garden at dinnertime. In the past I've had mini lights going around the fence but they don't provide much light. Initially I was going to put all four along the back of my house but then seeing how much light they put out I realized I could put one on the back of the house, one of the fence to the left, one at the middle of the back of the fence and one on the fence to the right. As my dog walks around the yard they come on. It's also going to plenty of light for when I'm putting things on or off the grill or using my smoker which I plug in just behind the house.These were super bright right out of the box - no sun needed! All you have to do is use the little pin provided to click each one on. To install them it's just one screw (provided) at the top. They look great and work great AND don't cost anything to run since they're solar - perfect! 54 stars! Love the lights and brightness. Wish it didn't have such bluish color but does the job otherwise. 4 stars!UPDATE: It's been a month since I had these installed and they are still bright and responsive! Wish they stayed on a little longer but I managed to clock them at 10 seconds before going out. I was hoping at least 30 seconds they would stay on. Keeping at 4 stars. I'll update this on their 6 month mark.6 month Update: They still work but lowered from 4 to two stars because 3 out of the 4 NOW ONLY LIGHT UP IF YOU ARE 3 feet away waving your hands. For the full price of $39.99, I'm quite disappointed. Will update when necessary...Update: 10/25/17 from 2 stars back to 4 stars!Received one new light after contacting seller..... replaced one of the lights that wasn't working and now all 4 look good again. Awesome customer service!! 4I love these After a full day of charging on the back porch (facing south as recommended) on a sunny winter day they were bright and ready to go that evening. They definitely turn on at the described distance and are quite bright. I love that I'll have a nice bright light at the back door when I come home at night if I forget to flip the flood light switch before leaving. I hope these deter anyone from sneaking around my property. I bought 2 sets. And I'll be charging the other 4 tomorrow and placing them in other dark spots, like maybe 2 more on the driveway.I used Scotch Double Sided tape because I did not want to drill into the brick or material. 5DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY So far so good...seems to work just fine...will update as needed...also these were on sale which is why I got them in the first placeUpdate on lights: 10/15/17, stated that solar panel last five years, LED lights last 50,000 hour's...NOT TRUE...already one light stopped working...lasted barely 3 months... 1Works great! If you have ANY QUESTIONS or CONCERNS, please ask me!! 5Modern, bright, and works perfectly. Great lights for the price! I'm extremely happy with the outcome.The north side of my home is pitch black. I wanted solar lights so I didn't have to run any wiring. These are pretty bright and would irritate me if they were on all the time. I can see these come on through the bedroom window.They are mounted 5 feet off the ground. I put them as high as possible on our brick wall and when I'm hugging the opposite side of the wall the sensor still picks up my movement and turns on. Exactly what I wanted. They are mounted high enough that they can get charged.I left them in direct sunlight for a day before activating the master on/off switch so they can charge properly. No flickers and lights don't dim at all.I thought they would be bigger but they put out great light output to light up the whole side of my house.They are white with a blue hue (think of 5500k lights off a car with high intensity discharge headlights).I'm planning on getting more for a few other spots. 5Adjusted to 5-star ... with a caveat INITIAL REVIEW:I bought a 4-pak after reading all the glowing reviews from people who received these promotional items for unbiased reviews (yeah, sure). I tested them by leaving them in full sunshine for an entire day and turning them on with the supplied pin. I tested these in my darkened basement. To aid in testing, I numbered each individual unit as 1 through 4. Right away, #1 and #2 were the standout students, detecting motion flawlessly and stayed lit for 30 secs each occasion. #3 appeared to be DOA (unresponsive with the pin poke). #4 detected motion but only stayed lit for 5 seconds before going dark. After an hour, I decided to perform the test again. #1 worked well every other time. #2 decided to quit working altogether. #3 that was DOA before, all of a sudden came to life, detecting motion but stayed lit for 60 sec each time. #4 only detected motion if I was 12 inches away from it and only stayed lit for 5 seconds. My conclusion: these lights are total garbage and buying them is like rolling dice. Don t do it. I m returning them to Amazon. What a waste of my time!!!UPDATE 6/1/2016:I have to give credit where credit is due to Coco-Vision. After my initial negative review, Coco-Vision proactively sought me out and offered to send me a whole new 4-pack of these lights, guaranteed to work. I received the replacement lights promptly and proceeded to test them the same way I did with my original lights. This time around, all 4 lights worked perfectly. Each one sensed motion at about 10ft away and stayed lit for approximately 30 sec over and over. They passed my test with flying colors and are mounted around my house right now. So I have adjusted my rating from 1 star to 5 star with a caveat. The caveat is that these replacement lights were hand-picked for me by Coco-Vision. So, I recommend that you buy these lights but do test them rigorously and contact Coco-Vision if there s any problem. Coco-Vision seems to be a legitimate company who is aware of its online reputation here at Amazon and are responsive to the customers. 5Does not work We were very excited to install these as we believed that they would be a great addition and add some ambience to our backyard. We installed them at night, and they didn't work; we assumed they needed to charge still. We ensured that all lights were placed in areas where direct sunlight hit. Night 2- still nothing; we assumed the gloomy weather was the cause. Night 3- still nothing (and it was bright and sunny all day). Night 4- nothing. Now we are certain that the batch we received was bad and will be returning them. Such a hassle! 1
