Okay, but doesn't quite fit properly I really, really wanted to like this. The N on my keyboard has been scratched for a couple years, and now the M is going. All of the other keys, however, are fine. This fit well, and although it was a change in texture from the regular keyboard, that was to be expected as this is a soft and pliable material. Good - you can see the backlight through material, and the material physically fit well and made typing much quieter. Bad - the letters didn't exactly line up, so if lined up the right side of the keyboard then the left was slightly off (and vice versa) giving a bad sensation of double vision. It might work better to NOT try and have one that allows the backlighting so that the kay cover is completely opaque, but then you can't use it as well in the dark. I think I will just bite the bullet and get a proper new keyboard. 3NICE cover Fits very well. Just received the TPU cover today from Amazon. First impressions - I really like it. Very thin and fit is perfect. Lays very nicely down on the keyboard and does not move at all even when I type quite firmly. Feel is also good - not tacky at all like silicon (which I don't like) kind of smooth. Good Buy, the only reason I have docked one star is because it is not 100% transparent. Very very slightly opaque or frost type of finish. I think maybe thats the way TPU is and it really doesn't bother me too much.Pictures attached. I have also included pic without the keyboard so you can compare the difference with and without. 4Fits Beautifully! I wasn't expecting much when I purchased this, but I love it! It fits my Macbook perfectly. It has a nice, velvety feel. It looks really pretty if you want something to match your rose gold Macbook. I'm still able to type very quickly. I also like how you can still see the backlit keyboard. Highly recommend. 5totally solid The thing gets cloudy, but it truly doesn't warp, and I can see the backlighting clearly (which I just don't find with the products with cutouts). I've had this on my computer for months and months, and it shows barely any signs of wear. All keyboard covers will change the feel of the keyboard, but this one is a bit more minimal than a silicone one. I personally need the extra cushion because my keys act funny at times (and covers seem to help), and also I find the low-profile of the keyboard too difficult to type on. With the adhesive, this won't fall off. The only star I took off is for the clouding. 4Works well - I'm happy. I had ordered a different brand but stopped using it because it made the keys harder to push. This does not but actually, I think, makes it easier to use than the actual keyboard on my MacBook. Since the laptop is so thin the keys are nearly level with the computer and eating at the computer is a definite no-no. A lesson I learned after bringing it in to be repaired because the keys were sticking. If it had not been covered by warranty it would have cost me $500 to repair! Yikes! I learned my lesson. I know I need a cover for the keyboard, and this one does the job very nicely. It's super thin so that it doesn't hinder the laptop from closing properly and it's easy to type on. The lettering on the keys shows through decently - though not as though there were no cover. I am very happy with the purchase. One thing I will say is that I ordered the rose gold color, but it is not the same as the my rose gold laptop - more like rose. If this ever wears out, I would certainly order another one but would choose white or clear or something more neutral. 5Money Well Spent I write this almost a year and a half after purchase, and this product has proven it's worth. Still doing it's job. I just cleaned it for the first time (off the computer), using a non-alcoholic optical spray, and a micro-cloth, which left it clean, but you can still see the wear from 17 months of use.The best part for me is not knowing it is there. My sister-in-law has spilled liquids on her own keyboard twice, and the results were disastrous.For me, having at least some protection, for such a small price, is money well spent. 5Great way to increase your productivity with a MacBook. Some don't care for the feel of these rubbery keyboard covers but I've personally always loved them - especially after a scary coffee incident. This cover is the first I've ordered that didn't come with a case and I like it as much as any other one I've used. It fits my keyboard very well and doesn't slip around. The shortcuts are clear and color coding is helping me learn more than just the basic shortcuts for copy, paste, and cut. I do feel like this cover seems to attract lint (and cat hair) worse than others I've had but it's easy to wash off so it doesn't knock it down a star for me, personally. Would recommend- especially for new Mac users as these quick shortcuts can really be of help. 5My daughter bought this for her new computer! It ... My daughter bought this for her new computer! Fits the keys on all sides of each key. Lighted keyboard shines thru perfectly. Far better than others. Stellar!! I'm going to buy back ups. An exception because I hate these things but I want to preserve my MacBook keyboard from my messiness and wear. The CaseBuy one fits snugly around each key - down to the keyboard surface between each key. The lights on the keys shine thru as they are designed to do. Feels good to the touch and stays in place - not like a floppy flimsy film.Most other keyboard covers are a thin rubber film with slight indentations for each key. They don't hug the keys. It's just a lumpy flap. Plus the printed letters are typically black and opaque. So the back light from each key is blocked. 5A great save The MacBook Pro can get crumbs and dirt trapped below the keyboard. Apple rep said "No food." Okay, I'll try, but seriously who hasn't grabbed the laptop with a few crumbs on their fingers from a quick snack. Arrrgh. This cover saves the day, saves your laptop, and saves you time and money. Win win all around. Mine came in a padded envelope that the mail carrier folded and I freaked when I opened it, but it flattened out nicely in just a few minutes on the closed case. However, Apple recommends you not leave it on the keyboard all the time with the case closed. Can cause problems. Great case! 5
