    Test intensivley before the return window is closed. I bought this item as a backup so I didn t get to use it much, but when I finally had to use, it lasted for couple months before the Microphone stopped working, so I was able to hear but could not send a transmission. 1Best ear piece yet. I use these every day. So far they are holding up well. Much more comfortable for me than the over the ear kind. Sound is good. The cord is a bit long, but for some that may be a plus. Works just as expected which is a good thing. It took me a day or two to get used to them. I don't put it all the way in my ear. 5Mic broke Bought this on August and the mic stopped working. Only lasted about a 40 days, used 5 times. I could still hear crew chatting (so the earpiece works) but I could not respond back. Switched walkies multiple times and still the same result. Other surveillance mics works fine. Not worth the purchase 1Works well, cords annoying. Works fine, I needed it for a two week long event and used it regularly for 10-12 hours a day. Only complaint is that the mic and earpiece cords are different lengths, and the mic cord is at least 10" longer than the earpiece. The mic gets clipped to my shirt front and the earpiece to the collar, so the earpiece should be longer. Minor annoyance. Sound quality is fine, mic quality is fine. If I was using it daily, I would find one with a better cord setup, but you can't beat the price. 4Works well on the set I work in TV production and occasionally need to be on walkie. One ear on walkie and the other listening to the dialogue on comtek. I wanted a good two-way mic for the walkie and this works great. I used it every day for 3 weeks and it held up beautifully. I haven't used it for more than a month so I can't comment on longevity but like it a lot so far. Someone else on set recommended I don't skimp and I'm glad I didn't. 5We purchased these radios to work in farm machinery along ... We purchased these radios to work in farm machinery along with the Two-Wire Surveillance Mic for Motorola CP200 Empire. The radios have worked well and we've had no difficulty transmitting from inside the cab of one tractor over rough terrain to another operator inside the cab of another tractor 1/2 a mile a way. The radios seem well built and have held a charge for 8 hrs at a time. The only difficulty we've had is that one of the pins for the microphones that we plug in so we can hear from the earphone seems a bit loose which causes static. A rubber band around the radio and the microphone pin solved the problem but I'm not sure if the difficulty is with the radio or the pin from the mic. 4If you work for movies and/or t.v. BUY THIS. I use this when I work on movie sets and television sets as a Production Assistant. The price is great, I've had mine for a year, still no problems. Most people go to B&H and pay $80 for one. I think mine looks, feels, and performs better than theirs. Grab a skeletor earpiece to go with it and walla! You look legit on set. 5headset broke after 4 months, poor customer service. after having this headset for 4 months, the earpiece quit working, I have the move the pigtail that plugs into the radio for it to work and as soon as I let it go, the earpiece cuts out, I emailed seller for a replacement under the 12month warranty and no one emailed me back. 1The construction is very sturdy, and it works when you plug it in ... The construction is very sturdy, and it works when you plug it in and don't touch or even jiggle the plug, but as soon as you move the plug at all it stops working. I had ordered two units to use at a live event, but both units worked exactly as described in all of the walkie-talkies I had.edit: It turns out I didn't have the plug all the way in. The unit works fine but it does take a lot of force to get the plug all the way into the socket. 4So far it has worked great. I love the talk button on it I work on a film set for a living (1st AD), so this product is essential to me for my work. So far it has worked great. I love the talk button on it... it's made of rubber and easy to use all day. On the older version of this, the talk button was made of plastic and used to break... pain in the ass. This is the real deal film peeps... this is what you're looking for on set for a good surveillance ear piece. 5
