    Works great! Bought this for my husband, he's in corrections. I simply cut a inch long slit near where his radio sits on his duty belt and stitched it up so it wouldn't get any larger. This way he just runs it up under his uniform shirt. No tangles and he really likes it. Will be buying him a spare. 5Just do it! I've found this earpiece far superior to the alternative of wearing a microphone/speaker clipped to the epaulet on my uniform shirt. I can now hear the radio without everyone else having to hear what is being said on the radio and without having to turn my head to speak into the shoulder microphone. My only regret is that I waited so long. 5Good piece of equipment Great accessory for law enforcement. This allows me to be completely unheard, if stealth is the need. It s also a great officer safety if you are out with someone who has warrants. My only complaint is I had to buy a separate earpiece, the one it comes with is extremely uncomfortable. It also has a lot of extra wire. Other than that the sound quality is good and no complaints from dispatch or other officers about hearing me. 4Not bad, for the price Pros: Sound is good, good length and sturdy connection.Cons: Earbud plugs your ear up so it makes it near impossible to hear anything but the radio, I bought a molded ear piece and fixed that though. Base does not detach so It has to be fully removed from the radio every time. Doesn't fit over my ear great and is solid molded so it won't adjust but that could just be my ear.I would recommend mainly due to the price, if the price goes up from $45, I would try elsewhere. 3Highly recommended This earpiece/mic is a very reliable accessory for any security/ law enforcement job that uses the listed radio models. Sound clarity is great, the fit is comfortable (I bought the Zeadio Earplug Earmould Earbud as well for more comfort), and this product lasted 2.5 years. I am having to re-purchase the item due to wear and tear on the wire connection close to the radio connection, BUT I still highly recommend this product. If I have to replace it every 2.5 years, I will do so without question. Nothing lasts forever, but 2.5 years of daily use at the price of $40 is an awesome deal. 5WORKS GREAT I bought this mic to use for my Police radio (APX 6000). so far so good. the mic seems sturdy and my dispatch has no complaints about hearing me. I'll update once I get more daily use out of it and after a good foot chase/struggle. 5Good product to purchase I would recommend this product to all officers .1 great sound 2. reinforced wires 3. Your able to hide your wires in your uniform, because no one wants to be choke out by there cord. I would recommend purchasing (2) of them just for a spare. 5Five Stars item as advertised, works great 5Needs adjustments I've had this device for about 3 months. Worked well at first but Now the sound from the ear piece is low and sound is coming from the mic. Don't know the issue. If this issue is fix then this piece will be a 5 star 2great setup I have been using this set up for about 6 months and love it. I have had no issues with it. being in law enforcement this is a great option.CONS:- does not have red "panic button" on the mic like the original hand mic does. (only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5)PROS:- crisp clear audio. I have been at large events with loud music lots of other sounds that would have been almost impossible to hear the regular hand mic, but with this setup, I had to turn the volume down.-being able to keep the volume lower, allows me to hear from dispatch important information about an individual I might be standing right next to, and they wont hear it. where as with the regular hand mic, they hear everything you hear.- strong clips keep the mic and earpiece secure and where you want them.I have recommended this product to several people at my agency and would definitely buy it again. 4
