Top notch! The straps are exactly as described and work great! Extremely easy to install, I did 2 tv's. One into studs, one into a wooden tv stand. There isn't a price I wouldn't pay to protect my son, and so I got the highest rated straps I could find. Thx again for a great product! 5Safe, Durable, q Straps and Hardware, and perfect basic instructions arrived on time, new and in perfect condition. I have an Old wooden entertainment unit, which newer TV's do not fit into. The straps were very easy to intsall, my TV held perfectly to the unit. my toddlers had a bad day shortly after we installed the straps, full blown fit in front of the tv-without them, I would not have been able to get to her before the TV crashed on her! Thanks to having them installed properly, the TV barely jiggled. We got a new, larger TV a few weeks ago. Removing the straps from the first TV, and re spacing them on the unit to fit the new TV, was a breeze! And of course they work well with the new TV. The variable sizes of screws make this a no brainier product to buy. I am buying more soon, we have decided the kids are old enough for proper dressers, and we want these straps to hold the dressers to the walls. 5I love that all the non-nylon components are metal - this ... Installed quickly, cleanly, and completely with my 70" Samsung tv. I don't know about other TV models that other reviewers may have had with the included hardware (read: bolts/screws), but I imagine we're talking about user error here. I love that all the non-nylon components are metal - this is a BIG deal when securing an expensive appliance - and the straps are easily adjustable without having to use additional tools (very convenient if adjusting the orientation of the TV, we just got a new entertainment center after installing the anti-tip straps, slightly different height than before, and we didn't have to re-drill any of the anchor screws). The price was good, shipping was quick, and most importantly it works. 5Disappointment They seemed less complicated on the photograph of the ad. For some reason, I expected the item to 2 pieces that would connect to the rear of the television unit that could be installed with 4 screws at the most. I don't care for this item at all. Maybe if someone from the company installed it, I would not be so disappointed. I'll never use those straps. 1Screws into your TVs existing holes I've been meaning to install such straps for years. Even a minor earthquake could topple a big screen. I held back because I figured hooking straps to the TV would require drilling holes into the TV, perhaps damaging circuitry inside. It turns out that TVs all have standard holes on the back so you can mount them to a wall. These straps come with various screws that fit these holes. So the entire installation took about 2 minutes. The straps are very sturdy and all parts are metal. Very good quality. 5Simple, Robust, and Long Enough for Large TV Simple, robust, easy to use, and large enough for a massive 85 TV.I installed these on a TV in an office conference room that sits on a large credenza. The straps were easy to position, screw into the TV with the provided hardware and attach to the back of the credenza with a couple large screws. Once attached I tightened them down and secured the excess strap ends with Velcro cable wraps (not provided). The straps are clean and barely show up behind the TV, since the buckles are nice and high up near the middle of the TV.When installing make sure you have the correct size/length screws for the TV and use the top mounting points for the angle. Don t forget to tighten the straps. 5Screws are not long enough to fit TV Just purchased a new 75" Samsung QLED TV and purchase the straps for a bit more security for my TV. The straps appear to be good quality but the screws that come with the kit are too short. The kit comes with 2 different lengths of screws for the TV but both sizes are too short. As near as I can tell they are at least 3/4" too short. Hopefully Lowes will have the hardware I need or the kit will be of no use. The screws that come in the kit to fit the TV are 1/2" and 3/4" in length so if you need hardware longer than this the kit will not work unless you can find the hardware locally.Update: Lowes did have the hardware I needed to make the attachment to the TV I have had these installed for about 1 month and seem pretty good but I don't want to test them to see if they work. 3Works for 58" TV We had an old plasma TV for about 13 years that was resurrected twice but finally died. It came with a large, sturdy stand because it was a heavy TV with wide legs. It had something similar to this product holding it to the stand for extra security. We bought a new 58" TV that had chicken legs for a stand and with a rambunctious cat in the house, we knew we would need some way to anchor the TV. A Google search led me to this product and I took a gamble on ordering it. It was easy to find the right screws to fit the TV and, after drilling an extra hole in the stand, easy to tighten the straps. I found the instructions a bit difficult to follow in parts because they way they show the straps facing is not the way they actually fit. The instructions seem more tailored for those anchoring to walls. Still, it does the job. I used Museum Putty on the front legs of the TV and to stick the leftover straps to the back of the stand so they don't dangle. 5Perfect for the Intended Application I have cats. Anyone who lives with these delightful creatures knows that nothing is off limits to their curious natures. I recently bought a new TV and was not going to take any chances-either with my cats safety or the security of the TV. The included instructions were very easy to follow and all you need is a screw driver and a drill. I found the correct size screws that are supplied with the straps and did not have any problems at all installing these (along with some feline help). After installing the straps and tightening them up, the TV is very secure which takes a world of worry off of my shoulders. Anyone who has a flat screen TV and also have pets or children around should have a set of these. There is no price tag on the safety of loved ones and who wants to run the risk of having to replace a new TV that had been knocked down on the floor and busted into smithereens. The customer service had even emailed me checking in to make certain that everything went well. I was very surprised and pleased by this. Great product and great customer service. You can't go wrong. 5Already recommended them to my grandson's parents. Very easy to install - while I am an engineer, I am also disabled, so I figure that degrades me to near average ability.I used them on two Samsung flat screen: easily mounted to the back side's mounting holes. One required drilling into a wooded stand & worked per the directions. My other stand is glass an metal (painted to look like wood & I forgot it was metal). Fortunately (for me) the stand's own assembly bolts were in the right places. One easily 'screwed' through the center hole. I had to 'warble out' the center hole on the other bracket - trashed a drill bit, but it can be replaced, unlike my grandson.Further - I was impressed that the seller sent a thank-you Email, with a PDF of the instructions attached, while the product was in-transit. Clear & simple and showed how to attach select furniture to the wall.Recommendation: Buy these straps. 5
