Customer Reviews

Okay productI bought these to use on my traxxas rc's but the bits strip out very easy at least the small ones do the big ones are a little better and I like that it comes with a 3/8 10mm socket and a 1/4 female to female 1/4 bit holder for some reason3Great quality, excellent range of sizes I should first mention that i spent way more time researching these than I ever expected that I would. It turns out that finding a set with this quantity of bits and with range in size of the bits isn't as easy as I would expect it to be. There are LOTS of bit sets on the market but not many in this quantity and range of sizes. That said, this one seemed to be the best of those I found and so I bought the Star Bit set, the SAS Hex set and the Metric set.As tools go, these are pretty well made. They definitely aren't rust-proof, but they also look well made enough that I don't expect they'll rust very easily either. In terms of endurance, they've held up very well so far and I fully expect that they'll last me for years and years to come. The only complaint I would make is on the case itself. The colored portion of the bit holder is a sticker of sorts, which is fine, but it also wasn't put on very well and I'm not sure that it will survive the life of the tools themselves. I thought about pulling a star from my review for it but it's not quite bad enough for that. I would have given 4.5 stars if that was an option. 5seems pretty goodJust got these, will update if I have any issues. Over all the quality seems good and the holder holds the bits securely. the sockets are bit holders with square drive on the back. the 3 larger bits require you to use the 1/4in drive socket, the smaller ones are standard bit size. you will need to use a magnetic bit holder for the smaller ones since they do not have grooves cut to lock into quick release chucks.over all these seem to be a good quality tool and i would recommend them.5seems pretty good Just got these, will update if I have any issues. I bought these to use with a inch/lb calibrated torque wrench while working on my mountain bike. They work perfectly, fit well and hold tight in the bit retainer provided. I haven't installed these in an impact driver like they are intended to be used in and probably never will, but what I bought them for they are perfect.5worthwhile purchaseexcellent tool set, much better than the non impact hex bit I have. I use mainly on my bike, but the non- impact hex do bend. I bend one when adjusting my saddle position. These impact hex bit do not bend. They are much better. It cost a little more but is well worth it.5Nice set. with some weak design issues I have purchased this set twice and now am considering a 3rd purchase because I like the convenience of the set. The weakness comes from the bit sockets, The 1/4 inch bit holder has a small piece of metal insert that can fall out and get lost very easily, without it the bit just falls out of the socket. The 3/8 inch bit holder has small ball bearing being held in place with a ring wrapped around it holding it in place, The problem is the ball falls out and gets lost easily, then the bit just falls out of the holder, The 3rd problem is the storage tray the plastic wears out and the bits and bit holders fall out and get lost easily. I am a mobile mech. and need to keep things organized and use these allen bits all day long for the money its a good tool. 3One thing i really like is that the tray holding the bits has some ... I've owned this kit for over a year now. One thing i really like is that the tray holding the bits has some feature in the holes for the bits that "snaps" when the bit is pushed down and thereby holds the bit in place in the tray -- i.e. they don't fall out when they are in your tool box and are all there in the tray when you need them next time. They seem to be well-made bits. I say "seem to be" because I have not used them heavily enough to rate their durability (this is also why I gave the set four instead of five stars). I got the set because I needed an 8mm hex for removing a bolt holding an alternator in the engine compartment of a 2000 Saab 9-5 sedan. I needed a tool with a very low profile to fit within a very narrow space and so I jury-rigged a solution by putting this 8 mm hex bit into the box end of a 10 mm combination wrench and used some tape to keep the bit secure in the spanner while I inserted the whole thing down into the gap to loosen the bolt. Solution worked great both loosening the bolt and later tightening it to secure the new alternator. 4Very impressive so far!So far these look like a very high quality product like something you would get from Milwaukee. Only time will tell if they hold up as well, but so far I am very impressed with these. I will update this if things change, but right now I don't see that happening. These look more like they were cut on a CNC then molded. All of the ones I have tried so far have fit perfectly. No rough edges or slightly over or undersized like most inexpensive bits.5MUCH better than normal "drill" driver bitsI was tired of stripping through inexpensive hex bits bought at the big-box DIY stores, and then a buddy told me I should check into Impact Grade bits. These had pretty good reviews, so I gave them a shot. They are fantastic compared to even name-brand store-bought bits like Bosch and DeWalt. I've used these on about thirty pieces of IKEA furniture so far, and none of them are showing any signs of rounding or stripping.5Solid bitsI'm copying the review as I purchased sae, metric & torx set. Bits are great, I use them in a cordless impact (56v) and they've outlasted some kobalt impact bits I had which is impressive. The holder is slim and friendly on real estate in either a box or bag. Bits snap in and seem to also be held magnetically which is convenient. Not sure if they're supposed to be labeled, if they are its not obvious on my sets. I engraved mine incase they get dropped/mixed. Recommended5Just what the doctor ordered A friend had a set. I managed to lose a few of them, falling out of my non magnetic holder. So, I bought a set for the both of us. The product fit perfect...completed the job. Correct tool for the job. 5and may be better suited attached to a magnetic extension firstI've used the 5 mm and 2.5 mm bits, and they're able to still maintain their shape, when used with an impact driver. The 2.5 mm allowed me to remove a screw that was partially rounded off. My main complaint about these bits is they tend to fall off the impact driver, and may be better suited attached to a magnetic extension first.4They fall right out of the case.Great product, but the case sucks, so as long as you don't mind picking them up off the floor all day, they're great4Bits get stuck after impact driving I suspect these are not fully impact hardened. After using the T10 driver it got stuck in the adapted. I'm going to use a vise and hammer to tap it loose later on tonight, but if that doesn't work the set is pretty much useless. Just be warned. These don't seem like they'll hold up to serious takakata takataka (that's an impact driver noise). 2Titan 13 pcs metric hex bitsI bought these bits to add bits hex bits to my bicycle tool collection. I had trouble loosening the : bolts under my seat post because my hex bits with handle are just too long. These bits goes in tight places and does what I bought them for. I can also use these bits when I m using my 1/4 torque wrench. They re durable enough and price is right.5
