    not sensitive enoughI couldn't adjust it to be sensitive enough to alarm when climbing in and out of the boat. It would only alarm when I grabbed the unit itself and moved it around. 100 I ended up with a bad taste in my mouthCould not get it to work , after $200.00 dollars in labor 30. in shipping ,and lost the cost of the item ,at about $200.00 I ended up with a bad taste in my mouth . Thanks 5Defective T&H Marine boat alarm*Beware* Ordered alarm on Monday, received it on Tuesday afternoon and returning it Wednesday morning. The box it came in is nice and looks like it would contain something of quality but (like my first wife) looks can be deceiving. I installed the T&H Marine alarm exactly how the instructions indicated however as soon as 12v DC was supplied to the unit it began to alarm. The remote that was supplied would not control the head unit at all even after attempts to pair the two. I called T&H Marine hoping for some technical support but once again no success. I was placed on hold for 10 mins only to get a voicemail box. The sensitivity adjustment on unit was shipped at the lowest setting so adjusting it was no help. In my opinion, its way overpriced for the quality you get. That's why I'm writing this review. I work hard for my money and don't like throwing it away on cheaply made overpriced products. P.S. I thought perhaps people weren't installing it correctly. Plus, when KVD endorses it, I felt more confident about it's quality. Well, I was wrong. This went in my new Ranger 521c. The main unit was installed vertically in the rear compartment on a horizontal cap structure section. This section is bare fiberglass. I'm using the highest sensitivity setting. It will only go off if you tap on the main unit. There could be a hurricane and it won;t go off.
