Customer Reviews

Nice bag but missing some featuresOverall this is a very well build bag, super lightweight and under the max airline size requirement. The lack of lockable zippers or anyway to lock the bag seems like a huge oversight. Also the interior of the back is a slick nylon material so you can't add any dividers to the interior of the bag so its very difficult to separate different pieces of gear and if TSA looks through it it all just gets piled back in. The velcro handle attachment isn't enough to keep the handles together most of the time if checking the bag, making me wish it had different handles. 3It needs wheels, but it's a beast. The case is very high quality, I have flown all over the US and Latin America with it. Then only thing is that it cane hold way more than I can carry (I am a big guy). I wish I had gotten one with wheels. Two C-Stands in this bad boy is over kill. I have moved around with 6 light stands, 2 c-stands, 2 modifiers, and 2 tripods inside. Way too much weight. I need wheels. 5Great Case For Travel/DurableTenba knows how to make a case. We have used this case to transport gear back and forth across the country for more than a year. It has been subjected to the gorillas who do the baggage handling at airports who throw it around and it is still in great shape. It has been used to carry tripods, light stands, etc.The wheels make life so much easier if you've ever had a case without wheels and you've tried to get around airports/hotels.We generally have it packed to near 70lbs capacity that the airlines will allow and it is still in great shape. The only criticism is that the zippers are hard to zip/unzip, but I think that actually just makes it more secure while in transit. 5Great and durable bag for the on-the-go photographerWe do real estate photography and videography, so we always have to have a multi-flash setup (lots of light stands) and are always on-the-go. For portability, and functionality, this bag really fulfills both of those requirements. The reason our company went with Tenba was due to their reputation of high-quality materials, including long lasting wheels and the highest quality zippers (2 things that are always first to go on a cheap bag). We've been using these bags for about 3 months now, and so far no sign of severe wear or failure regarding the wheels or zippers. They get the job done, and we would highly recommend them.If I was to make any recommendations to anyone thinking of purchasing this bag - or suggestions for improvement to Tenba - it would be that the overall case doesn't feel super thick like we were expecting. We haven't had any problems with regards to it to this point; however other Tenba bags (and a few other companies making these long rollers) seem to have a little more padding. Making it not as thick does keep the weight down (important for being on the go), but I think we were just expecting something a little thicker. Also, I wish we had the capability to compartmentalize items (dividers or something like that). But maybe that's just under the most ideal scenario with the "ultimate" bag.I would highly recommend this product for anyone who needs to carry around a lot of photo/video gear (tripods, light stands, lighting) and is looking for high quality. 5Perfect for MeI needed a rolling bag for a few stands, a couple of small (1x1 ft) LED light panels and a tripod for hauling gear around town. Although I don't anticipate checking this bag, it might be good to fly depending on how strict your airline of choice is about L x W x H restrictions. This bag is right at the limit according to rules I have seen online. But for around town this bag works great, is well padded and rolls nicely. 5Tripod mangementExcellent camera support management for my SUV. Holds my two tripods and a monopod in by SUV. The internal plastic sheet prevents knocking together / rattle. Perfect! 5Great Roller for Videographers / CinematographersExcellent roller bag/box. I m a cinematographer and this support roller fit a 9 foot Manfrotto tripod (obviously collapsed), a regular Manfrotto tripod, 2 Sirui monopods, 2 light stands, a gorillapod and one or two other little clamps and odds and ends. I m now able to bring all of my support gear in somewhere in one shot. It s pretty tough too. We ll see how the wheels and body hold up over time but so far, so good. Plus, the company is based in Brooklyn from what I understand and it s reasonably priced. Win / win 5Tenba TTP46 Delivers The Goods Once Again...I own several Tenba bags that are used for various video equipment I own. They never let me down. I purchased two of these Tenba TTP46 bags to hold four of my Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stands. The bags are well padded and come with a nylon divider and two strap downs inside the case to separate each pair of my light stands. The bags also come with a detachable shoulder strap. You can stow the strap inside a zippered pouch inside the bag if you don't use them. I would recommend these bags to anyone who wants a well built, affordable traveling bag for their light stands. 5So well made & just the right sizeThis bag is fist class build quality and I love that it's not sloppy (not too soft sided, too long, like my old stand bag). My longest Avenger stands fit well and when I need it too, I can cram 2 large, one medium stand, 1 little stand and 2 umbrellas in there... I never would have guessed that. It doesn't come with a strap, so that's the biggest negative, we had to appropriate one from another bag. At this price, I think they could add a really well padded strap system and be the best bag out there. The solid sides are nice protection and easy to dig into and pull things out of. They are also flexible enough to squeeze something a tad too big in in you need. One nice added touch is the straps on the ends (which are often the top and bottom as you sling the bag into your car, etc... it's nice to have something to grab when holding the bag that way. Get one... your assistants will thank you ;-) 5Top quality and design-worth the extra over the competitionWhat a great bag. I love it. Perfect for my Gitzo series 3 tripod with a Wimberley WH-200 gimbal head. It fits with the gimbal attached but I take off the bottom clamp arm and put it int he handy pocket. I was not expecting such a well made and perfectly designed bag. It's at the high end of prices for tripod bags but you do get a lot more. Tough enough for throwing in a small plane or boat and hiding out to the boonies. It will sort of fit in overhead compartments on bigger planes but get on early as it's long. If it gets bumped you will rest assured your tripod won't end up in carbon fibre or aluminum sticks. It comes with a great shoulder strap and there are straps inside to secure your tripod or monopod I have 2 tripods and a mono pod in mine and room for some more stuff. There are 2 "security" pockets on the inside ends that are perfect for stashing your passports.I'm glad I spent the extra money 5
