    This is a good product. Well made from cast metalThis is a good product. Well made from cast metal. Installs easily. Meets "extra duty" requirements. Not ugly like so many in use covers. 4Easy to installEasy to install and very secure. The product looks just like the example images. Very high quality metal that is slim enough to blend in and yet expands large enough to accommodate think extension cords. Installed two of these in about five minutes each. 5Four Starsit worked as needed 4Attractive "In use" coverThis is the most attractive "in use" cover around. "In use" means it's intended to have a plug in for an extended period of time and shield it from the rain (think Christmas lights). The door stays propped open. Best for flat walls, the door comes very close to the wall when opening. If your wall is rough, apply a thick bead of clear caulk on the back of the gasket before installing. The covers with a bubble clear plastic door provide the best protection, but are not much to look at on the front of the house. 4I am not sure about the consistency of this product.I purchased three of these to replace old style covers. Two of the there work well. The third one is very difficult to open. 3Great for flat walls.Great for flat walls, but, trickier for clapboard siding.... spacing consideration to allow the hinge cover to swing open properly. 4Five StarsAAA+++ 5Easy and nice being metal.Very easy and fast to install and being metal, it was last forever. The only issue that it takes a bit of touch to open to all the way and hold open, but once you get how to do it, it's not a big deal. 5slim designnice slimmer design,, which also contributes to nearly impossible task of caulking across the top edge. However, if you're mounting on a flat surface, the enclosed foam gasket is sufficient. 4
