    so that's a good start. they say the 130 V bulbs are ...Didn't blow when I first installed it, so that's a good start. they say the 130 V bulbs are less prone to popping before their time. So far so good.4Burns out quicklyI bought 6 of these, for use under our roofs as outdoor can lights. They suck. We turn on our outdoor lights for ~8 hours per night, 7 days a week, and we get no more than 3-4 months of use. They've got no longevity.At first I thought it was a bad bulb or two that went out early, but I've now gone through all 6 in about the same timeframes. I'd look for something else.2Out of the darkness!A lifesaver. My outdoor floodlights were constantly blowing bulbs. I was told to try 130v bulbs. Amazingly, my problem was solved. That voltage is a hard find.5Lovely colorI put led white lights in and everything looked flat, so I replaced them with what I had originally and there are no shadow and the light is easy on the eyes. I will buy them again.5130V Really Does Make a Difference!I read a couple of times online, including on amazon that you will get more life (that's what we all want, isn't it?) out of a 130V floodlight (for outside), so I decided to try it. I just installed the first one today, but read on the box and it's not just "internet ruse" about the 130V. It clearly says on the box that if you use it in a 120V fixture, the life will go from 2500 hours to 5000 hours. The wattage goes down from 90 to 79 and the lumens from 1300 to 1000, but these numbers are fine with me. I gave it only 4 because I want to see if it really does last more than the 6 months all the other ones I have tried last (touted to last 4 1/2 years by GE - they sent me a coupon, which was nice, but didn't solve my problem, and another one from another company touted to last multiple years). I have kept meticulously records and will know if this really does last longer.See ya in 6 months (or hopefully much longer for an update!).4Best I could find so far.Works for about a year. Goes on at dusk and off at dawn outside in Wisconsin.4DisappointingI purchased this on July 29, 2015 and it's now December 4, 2015; the bulb burned out today. I was hopeful because of all the good reviews saying it had lasted a long while. But that is not my experience. It have it on my outdoor floodlight that detects the amount of light outside and comes on automatically at dusk and goes out automatically at dawn. I didn't expect this light to last forever, but I did expect it to last longer than 4 months. I will say that the light did give off nice light and it was great for security lighting. Just a shame it didn't last longer.2LightWas broke when got it1Five StarsI would definitely recommend this product .5BRIGHT light for the nightI use these floods for motion lights and they definitely are bright enough to illuminate a vast dark area. In tandem with security cameras they work very well. Do keep in mind that they get HOT - so I would recommend this for motion only.4
