    Bought as a novelty itemI bought it from an Amazon Affiliate and it arrived broken. It wouldn't turn on. I called the manufacture (Swann) and they sent me a prepaid label to return it to them direct. Two weeks later I got it back and it turned on. The camera works but the date for the camera won't reset correctly. I bought this as a novelty item and the date doesn't really matter to me so I probably won't contact them again to fix it. They should have checked it out when they repaired it to make sure it worked properly. 4It's a cheap knock-off...I just received the product. To my surprise I did NOT receive what I ordered. Though it is advertised as Swann made it is NOT. Needless to say, I asked for an RMA. 1Records video OK, but you can't set the date/time.This is not a Swann product. False marketing, Amazon. For the price, it takes OK video, surprisingly. But--you cannot set the date/time. And there is no option to remove the inaccurate date/time from the recorded video. So, you can have "emergency" video, let's say, after a car wreck, but there's that annoying incorrect date. 2Don't waste your money!This is a piece of junk! The time function cannot be set, the response time from Swank Tech assist is approximately 2 months. Their excuse is that their sales have been so overwhelming they didn't have time to respond. I'm thinking...if they sold a good product why would they be overwhelmed with technical questions?My unit stopped working completely within two days. Sometimes I wish Amazon offered a minus five star option.
