Bright and Great value We had an issue where our first order product didn't work. We were issued a refund and decided to reorder the product because the damaged item wasn't directly related to the quality of the product--just bad luck to get one with physical damaged. Our refund was issued and a replacement was sent with free 2 day shipping. The second order actually got here 1 day before the 1st order was even supposed to be here according to the original order estimated delivery date --so the shipping was super fast on BOTH orders. The lights are super bright. They definitely look better when you are putting them somewhere that REFLECTS color since they are RGB (red, green, blue) instead of colored by each light being a certain color. Some people might not understand that the lights display color based on the combination of those primary colors. If you want to SEE the lights themselves, you'll be seeing individual red, blue and green lights. REFLECTED on a surface, the light appears the color you choose on the remote. So, for what we used the lights for, this was perfect. They were half the cost of similar lights at our local retail store...and considering these lights have worked about 2 years by past experience, that's fine with us. The sticky tape does NOT stick for long. Ours went on top of a ledge so this didn't matter...but the lights will need some real double sided tape or other method if you plan to put them somewhere that gravity will work against. It's 3M tape backing, but it was still bad quality. That's the only negative that we've experienced so far. 5I must say I'd never thought my gaming room would ever come close to look like rooms you see on youtube I'm a casual gamer and bought 3 units of these lights for the bed frame under my bed, behind my 55in tv, and in the rest around the shelf and nightstand. I must say I'd never thought my gaming room would ever come close to look like rooms you see on youtube. The setup was very straight forward nothing sketchy. Has over 20 different colors and multiple modes you can adjust depending on your mood. Although all 3 of my units each came with a remote I found that I could use one for all 3 so that was a pleasant surprise.The only bad things i can think of is the adhesive tape on the back is not reliable. My lights fell off the day after setup, but nothing clear packaging tape cant fix. Also the receiver will act up if I use my tv or sound bar remote anywhere close it so might have to map out where your receiver will end up, power cord, etc.The amount of lights you get for the price with the colors and functions I'd say its worth the price. I was able to deck out my whole room for $50! 5These are great! I love these lights. Super easy to install, just peel and stick. I have a set istalled on the back of my television and now ive got this set installed to the back of my headboard.There are several different modes to choose from so you can go from a party mode or dance mode to something that would provide just enough light as a night light.My only complaint is that it uses an ir sensor for the remote. You have to have a clear line of sight between the remote and the sensor. Other than that, its great. 5Only displays three colors and the small LEDs are spaced far apart. Update: I've raised my review from 3 to 4 stars. The company reached out to me to try and resolve the issue. Customer Service whether good or bad certainly adds or subtracts a star in my opinion. The key thing to remember is 3528 RGB LED strips are totally different from 5050 RGB strips. Research a comparison before you buy.Not what I expected. I should have done a little more research. The LEDs themselves are about half the size of other LED strips I've bought. Thus they are about half as bright. But the second disappointment is how far apart the LEDs are. I am used to them being a half inch or less apart. These are closer to an inch apart. But the thing I've never seen before, is they only display three colors red, green, and blue. If you press the purple button the red LED comes on and the Blue LED comes on. The green LED stays off, so there is an inch gap in the lights. If you click on one of the only three colors it can display, then only every third LED comes on with a 3-inch gap between them. The only reason they are getting two stars instead of one is that they arrived a day early. The price should have been cause for concern. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. 4Updated UPDATE : The company sent me a new set. And sofar they are working good. Hopefully I dont have a problem with these.For now I'm going g to put these at a 4 star and if they don't mess up by my next update it'll definitely be a 5.These LEDs are worthless. The connector on the power cord is too short and doesn't make a full connection. Will either keep turning on and off or just not work at all. When they do work they look good. Besides that it's pointless to buy these I constantly have to fuss with the connection to get them to work. 4YOU CANNOT DO COLORS BESIDES, RED GREEN AND BLUE, BY THEMSELVES. Attention! You CANNOT do colors without them being mixed with another color or not seeing them at all. You can only do red green and blue NONE of the other colors by them selves. This was such a disappointment 1works great, looks great We put this strip of LED's on the back of my son's TV when we mounted it to the wall. Mike came with all the parts (Remote, Power adapt. and IR) the complaints about the sticky tape on the back are real. The adhesive came off with the paper backing so I busted out the hot glue gun and used that to adhear it to the back of the TV. The lights are BRIGHT and look really cool when he has them on. I actually set them to the dimmest they will go and they look great. This is the first set of LED lights I've purchased but I am impressed. I'll be buying more for other TV's and accent areas. Im very happy with my purchase and will be buying these again!Original post:I would suggest making sure it works before sticking it to everything. I did that and the A/C adapter made a high pitch whistling noise. The other one I bought did not. So in looking at the return process and seeing if there was any way that I could just maybe get an exchange for that I didn't find anything and the thought of ripping the sticking lights off where I placed them seemed like a lot of extra unnecessary work. I'm in the process of looking to find just the a/c to replace it with so I can use them without having to rip them down and start again. Eh they are cheap so I can't be super upset about them.
