    Streamlight Poly TAC 90 Right Angle Flashlight This is a great flash light. Not perfect; I doubt the life expectancy of the on/off button; it feels too flimsy to me; I don't think it will stand up to daily use. The carbineer should be on the side or the bottom? So that the clip could be located higher up on the body and made longer and stronger; as it is to hook it to my molle vest I have to attach a link to the molle strap and the carbineer to the link; it is secure but when I try to use the light hanging from the vest it is all over the place. The light works as advertised when clipped into the molle straps BUT, it is not secure and easily falls out. The best answer is use a retractable lanyard and clip the light to the molle straps? This would work better if the carbineer was not on the top of the light and the clip was longer & stronger, eh? 3I like this light a lot I like this light a lot. I use it on duty at fire station while running EMS calls, I have it attached to a loop on my radio strap by the clip so I can have personal scene lighting hands-free. I have to note that It is advertised as orange, but I received a red flashlight. I ended up not sending it back because the color does not affect its functionality. It is still hands-free, bright, and easy to find if dropped. 4Great EDC Light I received this light today and during my late night walk with my dog in pitch black I got to play around with it. Being a fireman, I've grown to depend on a streamlight for work, so I know how reliable their products are. This light doesnt fail to live up to the expected standard. It is a small light, about as tall as my smartphone and it packs a punch with its bright light. Offers 3 modes. High, strobe and low. Specs are listed in the product description. The switch is tricky to get used to but once you get it, its no longer noticable. I was able to shine the light about 300yrds on high and light up the park I was walking in.Update 10/2/2013: After using this light for 6 months I have a few more thoughts on it. Its not a good primary light for fire ground operations. I work in a major city in a large fire department and I have had the opportunity to try this light out in a fire. I does not compare to the output the Streamlight Survivor LED lights put out in smoke conditions. It makes a great pocket light while on duty though or a great backup. I dropped it to 4 stars due to the fact its a battery hog using pricey batteries. Not a deal breaker but watch your use in high mode. 4Streamlight or no light. Was smaller than I expected, probably my fault for not reading the description of it says the size. However, that doesn t stop this from being a very good light. I use it with my local volunteer firefighting, and it s great. The three modes help with any Demario. Prime example was hurricane level wind, rain, and working a down tree, the strobe feature stopped cars or alerted them atleast a half mile (probably further) and allowed for easy and safe movement of traffic. 5Orange is RED very red NOT ORANGE, not even a little bit Orange as described or as listed here and on the companies website. Mine is RED, like fire truck deep red. The item still works but I was really depending on a Hi-Viz Orange color not a deep red that in my opinion is just as easily lost as a black flashlight. The button also is flush, and has very little give when depressing it compared to other Streetlights I own such as the standard PolyTac C4 which is my every day use light and is awesome. I also have a ProTac 2L which has a recessed button but nothing as extreme as this light. Overall the quality is what is expected from Streamlight, I would just recommend either of those other flashlights if you don't need a right angle head light. 3AS EXPECTED EXCELLENT- read review for operation in USE details.......................................... As EXPECTED solid build quality and SUPER bright for its 90 lumens- oh its bright! Something you should KNOW is that there is a clear inner tube plastic inside the tube itself that must be removed where the battery is located and also if needed the bottom spring will need to be pushed inward/down once and the light works as it should. I found this out thinking it did not work at first? I own eleven flashlights and got lucky on the bottom spring which may have needed adjusting somewhat. I have this version and the regular top pointer. Based on my heavy usage of flash lights over forty years these will last your life time PERIOD! Very happy here and if you do firefighting, camping, hiking or enforcement type work you will find NO dissatisfaction here! 5When it works it's fine I've had this for about 2 months. It randomly flashes sometimes when I'm walking around and I don't like that. And sometimes when I have it on it turns itself off. And at takes a weird battery. When it does work, it's fine. The belt clip is extremely tight, which is neither a pro, nor, con. 2Love it Wish I knew about this little light a long time ago, I've been a fireman for about 8 years and I just now discovered this light. Hangs perfectly on the standard radio strap mic loop.The brightness is pretty amazing for its size. It is not hard to switch it to low setting. Just a three clicks and it Switches right away to the low setting. The beam of light is more powerful than some larger hand held lights I own. I also plan on putting it on my turn out coat when I need it for a fire or extrication. 5Pro: Super bright, compact. Con: Only lasted about a month on my radio strap before dying. Great light when it worked. Bright and compact, useful on my radio strap loop, and I didn't find it used batteries too quickly. That said, for a light marketed to firefighters, this thing certainly doesn't last, and mine was out of service after about a month.About 6-7 nights in, the light started flicking on for no reason, then after a month, it started turning off while I was using it. Couple days after that, stopped working altogether.Spoke with a few folks, and this experience apparently isn't uncommon with this light. Now I'm a bit concerned about the Streamlight "Survivor" on my coat. 2Buy a Streamlight get a value Streamlight flashlights might not be the absolute very bestest most expensive fancy flashlights on earth but the sure do give you a lot for your money. This angled light powered by the ubiquitous cr123 casts a strong beam of light that goes right out front when clipped to a jacket or hanging from a lanyard (there's even a head light attachment). The C4 LED is bright and has been used to brilliant effect (pun intended) in a variety of other Streamlight products. Fit and finish on this light are first class. All of the clips and fasteners seem quite bullet proof and ready for heavy use. I am pleased with this light as I have been pleased with the growing number of streamlights that are beginning be a significant part of my SureFire dominated collection. I think you are going to like this light if you try it. My only quibble is that getting into the other beam modes can be a pain. Not a big deal for strobe, but I would like to be able to get into low more easily 5
