    As good as it is. It's useless if it gets lost. So this light is just what I was looking for. It's a little bulky on a keychain but its manageable. It IS a pretty powerful light with impressive battery life. Its amazing for when you need a light and forgot your headlamp or bigger source. I just keep it on the keychain and usually dont even have to bring my tools out between my leatherman. And this I can handle most small jobs or troubleshooting.The reason I give 3 stars is because the latch that attaches to your keyring is very weak. I had it about 2 weeks and then noticed it gone one day. I ordered another one and at 18$ its deff sonthing I expect to last. After 2 days I found it laying on the ground where I was working. I'm glad I saw it before I left or it would have been 40 bucks down the drain. This confirmed a faulty latch as it had bent backwards. Unfortunately as much as I like the idea of the product and it works very well. I cant give a good review for somthing that will be lost. Dont matter how good your are if you dont show up for work right. The latch needs to be more robust. I will attenp to modify it and get some use out of it but I will not be dropping another 20 on a 3rd one. Overall. I'm disappointed in the poor execution of a great product. 2Fragile Bought one of these a few months back and realized the light had stopped working. I had it on my key ring but never threw it around or did anything crazy with it and the lense has cracked and light has stopped working. 1Neat little light Charge length: I have had this product for about two months and just had to re-charge it for the first time. I have used it for maybe a total of an hours run time.Brightness/functionality: this light has three modes. Low light, bright and flash. Both modes are pretty light, including the flash. On a dark night the flash mode is probably, stress probably, bright enough to use as a warning light if your car or bike breaks down. i have used this light to work under the hood of the car, light up a dark room to find the power switch, check for items in a car and other little things light that and I find that it works great for those task.Hardiness: the clip to attach it to my key ring has already bent out of the latch. I was able to put it back by pushing it against a hard object. I wouldn't be surprised if this piece eventually breaks off, etc, but to be fair I beat up on my keys pretty bad.Overall I really like this light. I plan on buying one for my girlfriend and my daughter to put on their key rings. It's a great little tool and since most people won't go to the trouble to carry a light around in their pocket or purse this is a great gift idea. 5Bright and handy but not durable Plenty bright and handy. However, the part that actually holds the LEDs has a plastic cover or something that is not durable at all. It was easily damaged after a fall. Wherever the lens is damaged, the LEDs will no longer function. 3AMAZINGLY bright light - ALWAYS there when needed! This little amazing LED rechargeable light is the length of a key with the thickness of maybe two (2) or three (3) keys. Great EDC or personal light. I have purchased several of these lights and everyone who has received one LOVES it.Easy to operate with a one (1) button design. Light has low, high, and flash function. Light is manufacturered with a spring clip to easily attach or remove from device you wish to attach Keymate.Most people install on keyring, but few have attached light to zipper pulls.I charge light every other month, unless required sooner. Charging us easy and accomplished through charging port and supplied cord. Function switch is also a charging status light ( red - charging / green - charged ).All the Keymates I have purchased the lens have minor cracks in them. These cracks have NOT affected the operation or output of the KeyMate.Streamlight manufacturers great products, this is just another one in their product line. Highly recommend this light for everyone. There is a time we are all in the dark, this device will assist you when needed. 5Decent Little LED I'm not one to buy any 'gimmicky' gadget, whether it's a knife, tool, or flashlight. I almost passed up on this little light but I've always been satisfied with Streamlight products.Weighing in at only 14 grams this key is light, but is thicker at the bow end to accommodate the battery and USB port. The LED is impervious to shock and rated at 50,000 hours. That's about 5.7 years of continuous use. IPX4 water resistance, not water-proof. 24 month warranty.For its size the LED is bright at 35 lumens. It's not meant to light up your house or driveway, but for close quarters use, like door locks, finding lost items etc. There is high and low settings, along with a flash. I guess you could use the flasher part in an emergency, but its too low to be seen by rescue aircraft or passing automobiles.The USB port is very well protected by a rubber cap. It sits flush and couldn't be opened with my fingers. I used a small pick. This is not a bad thing as the USB cover probably won't open accidentally in your pocket. Treat the USB cover with care, it's only held on by a small rubber hinge. Don't go yanking on it like a wild beast.With a full charge the LED runtime is 1-2 hours, but with normal intermittent use it will last much longer. The switch will blink red when it needs juice, and will glow green when full. Should fully recharge within 3 hours. Any USB power port should be able to recharge this light as the battery is only 110 mAh.As a close quarters light this LED is pretty impressive. I was able to light up my watch/wrist, look inside my pick handle, and make my wife yell "Get that way from me". Personally, I don't plan on using this light on my keychain. I prefer to hang small lights like this from the zipper pulls on jackets, book bags, knapsacks, range bags etc etc. It's easy to get the light to lay somewhat flat when needed for a task. When this type of light is on a keychain it's tends to flop around and not provide a consistent, direct light.All-in-all, it's a decent little LED. It recharges, making it eco-friendly and it's small, making it a go anywhere light. Just remember, it's small, meant for small tasks, not for chasing down Sasquatch in the middle of the night. 5SUPER BRIGHT/Disappointing Product was as described. Lights are super bright with low and blink also available with button tap. Over all satisfied with light but is very thick and bulky on key ring. Was actually trying to down size and thought this would be better than a round micro light. It is thicker than 2 keys with plastic covers. That being said it is still a good light.04/19/20 This is a follow up. Light is still super bright and working great. But this is a "key chain" light and after 5-6 months the clip that holds it on a key ring has broken. I have a very minimal key ring set up, not bulky or over loaded at all. The clip on the light at some point bent backwards and came off key ring. This is a good product and you will use it more than you think but when it fails at its intended designed I'm not sure what to say. This review was originally a 3 star. 2Did not function properly out of package This came in original packaging which is nice. Package says try me like you should be able to use it in the package to test. Ordered two. Neither of them worked in package which means these are likely so old they died. Charged one fully and attempted to use and only the light would work on the brightest setting and only when you hold the power button down. But there is three modes that are supposed to stay on? So I watched another video on here and it looks like they had the power cord in the side to make the difference modes work. So I plugged it in and hit the power button while plugged in and red and nothing happened. Left the charging cable in the side of the key and again tried the power button and the modes worked with the cord in the side. Pulled cord out of the side and and now seems to be fictional as stated. We will se how long this lasts if out of the box it was dead and after first charge not working properly. I would expect more from stream light!The bad thing is I ordered one for a Christmas gift so I hope that one works who likes giving a malfunctioning gift?Other than these issues out of the box it is a nice little key light. 2Exactly what I want so far. Just got this and will update if things change. Floody light, bright enough for close work. I am going to be using this almost exclusively to illuminate doors and keyholes at night, so this will be perfect. Another reviewer said the spring gater was too weak, I don't know, maybe he got a lemon, but my spring gate is almost too strong. I think I am going to tie a string to the gate to make it easier to open. 5Really awesome for gifts and those that love gadgets. Not a life changing product but I'm enjoying it. This is a neat little gadget! I have had it for a month or so and it's a cool edition on my keychain. I would likely buy it again with some changes to design.Pros:- Small reasonably built design which is sturdy. I don't know how it will fair with time but will keep this update if my opinion changes.- Extremely bright, more than I expected and I have a lot of streetlight products.- Clip is holding very well and I have NO concerns with it weakening and losing the key itself.- Charging port cover fits perfectly and I does not pop off which was something that shows quality product features that are made to fit appropriately.- I have not had to charge it yet, still going strong from the seller which is quite awesome. I don't know how long the charge will last continuously but I will test it in the near future.Cons:- The only con I have is the location of the light. I think this is preference only but I'd want it at the tip instead. 5
