Customer Reviews

Great camera strap! I love this camera strap! I wanted a great strap at a great price and that is exactly what I got. I wear my camera all day working at one of the World Birding Centers in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Finding a strap that was both comfortable and also made me feel secure walking around with a 200-500 mm lens on my camera was a priority and that is what this camera strap did for me. It distributes the weight of my heavy lens so my neck isn't stiff and sore at the end of the day.I would recommend this camera to anyone. 5Comfortable but not always convenient The strap is really comfortable, but sometimes no always as nice as I'd wish. It's really long even at its shorter setting and hangs low. The excess strap material also means that you have to finagle it into any camera bag you have and figure out how to fold the excess material. Detaching the strap is simple but then you have two small straps that hang from the sides flopping about. Best recommended use would be to use this strap for taking just your camera out and leaving the case behind or on you back. I'll use it, but may look for a second strap as well. 4Thought a bungee strap would be a neat idea...maybe not so much anymore. In the end, the negatives outweigh the positives with this strap.Pros:-Soft neck padding-Durable strap-Secure metal claspsCons:-Size. This becomes more apparent especially if used for travel.-Very bouncy. When walking around, the camera will bounce against your side because of the bungee material. Also, the fatigue from it bouncing around and dangling so much is very annoying which brings me to:-Strap is too long. I'm 5'11 and with the camera adjusted as short as it can go, the camera dangles just beyond my hip.-Holds onto moisture. If you're carrying around your camera all day in the heat, along with your neck hurting from the camera bouncing around on it, you'll also pool moisture onto the padding.I think if this strap could be adjusted to a shorter length, it may be more comfortable all around. 2length not readily adjustable The last thing I want is my camera hanging from a bungee cord that is a little too long ... 2Great camera strap! The material is very sturdy and the construction is solid. I expect this strap to last for many years. It is quite comfortable. The wide padded band at the top, along with the bungy straps, distributes the weight so that my camera feel lighter. The company's customer service is top notch. USPS lost my first order. The company responded immediately to my e-mail and sent a replacement via expedited shipping at no additional cost. They provided updates and responded to additional messages promptly. They are great to work with. 5Great product, reasonably priced and it meets my needs! Item arrived prior to estimated date. Good quality product. This strap has the quick release tabs that connect to camera and then you clip the strap to those tabs. I however, don't trust any of the quick release tabs, therefore, I made a modification of adding key rings to the camera and then clipping the strap to those rings. I am pleased with the purchase and would shop with this seller again. 4Almost Perfect They asked twice for a review so here goes... Build quality is excellent; it will last a long time. Attachment of strap w/rings to camera requires some dexterity but seems very secure once in place. I love the strap/camera disconnect feature; you can unhook the main strap for unencumbered use of the camera (only the attachment straps/rings stay with camera but they don't get in the way). I think I would have preferred lobster-claw releases rather than the trigger snaps (lobsters you have to pull, triggers you push) but that's a personal preference and takes nothing away from the design.Overall length of the fully extended strap when disconnected from camera is approx 50 inches unstretched and 60 inches with bungees fully stretched. 50 inches isn't that long and when carrying with the strap cross-body, things get a little snug; I'm not that big (5'10/200). Length is good though if the strap is just dropped on one shoulder. That's where my first complaint comes in: This strap works best cross-body. If you do hang the camera off one shoulder, the strap pad is stiff enough so it won't lay flat against your sloped shoulder. It sits on an angle severe enough so that only the inner edge of the pad touches your shoulder and it tends to slide down pretty easily. Perhaps if the middle 12" or so of the strap was separated into two sections, the section that rides nearest your neck could be a little looser than the section further down your shoulder. Second complaint is that the pad cannot be secured to the strap. As you bring the camera up to your eye, the strap slides within the pad--which is okay--but when you drop it back down, the pad generally doesn't move with the strap--after just a couple of up/down actions the strap pad is in the middle of your back (or front). Perhaps if there were some Velcro strips between the strap and pad, one could adjust the pad location to their liking and it would then stay in place (yes, the pad would rotate around with strap when coming up for a shot but at that stage you're not supporting the camera so it doesn't matter.)Overall this is a very nice, sturdy, versatile strap (I forgot to mention you can attach both ends of the strap to one ring or to a tripod mount adapter for various carrying options). I recommend this strap if one isn't too large a person.P.S. The Velcro modification I plan to do myself and I'm hoping that with use the shoulder angle problem will take care of itself. Four stars rather than five only because the strap may be too short for some. 4Very sturdy This strap is built to last. I bought it for a Panasonic Lumix entry level camera. It is overkill for my lightweight camera, although I will use it anyway. I take a lot of photos from the back of a motorcycle and wanted something I could raise and lower easily. This strap is perfect for that and should provide many years of use due to the material and how it is made. It would be perfect for a heavy camera. 5Nice flexible strap Straps for cameras and other optics are always a compromise, too thin and they hurt, too wide and they become hard to shift. This strap adds a helpful elastic element, so the optics gear can joggle a little without stressing the bearer. It makes for a more comfortable carry. There is a 12"x2.25" 'no slip' pad built into the strap that imho should be a half inch wider and six inches longer, but the strap works fine as is for a bandoleer style carry. I use two, one for my binoculars, the other for my scope. 5Wonderful Camera Strap I highly recommend this camera strap. Made from quality material and adjustable length. I was very skeptical that the bungee design would help with the weight issues of a large camera and long lens setup. I'm wrong. It distributes the weight so that it actually appeared lighter. Strap is long enough to be able to wear the camera as a side sling, in front or even in back when not in use. 5
