    I recommend it great device no complaints here 5Works flawlessly for me. Works flawlessly for me. Needed a way to output to two tv's from my satellite receiver and this worked perfect. I used the USB connector on the receiver to power it and ran an additional HDMI cable to the second tv. Easy peasy. 5Works perfectly Works perfectly, note that it needs external power from either the included wall wart or a USB port. 5Great Product & Great Service from StarTecg The product is great and works exactly as advertised. For me the best part was the customer service I received from StarTech when I had an issue. About 3-months in my spliter stopped working. I called StarTech's customer service and after answering a few questions, a brand new unit was on it way to me (not refurbished or repaires, but a brand new one).. I also wasn't even required to send the old, not working unit back. Got the new one in a couple days and was back in business. Now this is what great service is all about. This company backs it products and makes it right if there's an issue on their end. 5Five Stars Connected a 30 foot cable to one port and a 2 foot cable near the source. Both work perfectly. 5Five Stars Streams seamlessly with no noticeable lag or drop in audeo/video clarity. 5Excellent product! Excellent product! I am totally satisfied with it and the price was perfect for my budget. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and it works flawlessly. I'm extremely happy with my buy. 5Everytime Power is turned on to TV have to unplug ... Everytime Power is turned on to TV have to unplug HDMI and plug get in because picture is all green.happens on both monitors 1Fixed cable length for input is a bummer I wasn't paying enough attention when I ordered this, the major design flaw of this product is that it has a fixed input cable. Good for connecting to a graphics card on a PC, but bad for when wanting to connect something like an Firestick or Chromecast. The should have made a really short HDMI cable and included it so it could be attached separately to the device. This would allow greater consumer flexibility of cable length and input source. 3Unstable If I could tell you in person I would; do not purchase this product. We have used this product all around our campus and have had unexplained outages on hdmi connections due to this device. Power cycling does not fix the problem. If you leave the problem plugged in for a long amount of time, the more it degrades. I noticed that if you leave the startech splitter unplugged with no hdmi connections going into it for a while, it will work. But if it is left plugged in, it will not. I am in the painful process of removing 10+ of these devices around our campus and replacing them with Gefen splitters. I would recommend those. 1
