good but not great sound, great value for $8These are not the best earbuds that I own, but the sound pretty quality is good, making this a really great value at $8. Vocals are clear and the bass is rich. Build quality is very good for this price. Microphone works with Android, not just iphone. I bought 5 more before the price goes up.4Amazed.These are the best earbuds I've ever owned. Crisp sound, you can hear every aspect of audio...the bass is amazing, the treble is insane...whether talking, music or sound effects in movies...they are amazing. I will be ordering backups. I really appreciate the fine quality construction, the chords aren't flimsy, they don't tangle...they are comfortable and come nicely packaged. Im very impressed and the price... you cant beat it for this quality.5Good bass, bad cord noiseThe good: I like the bass on these headphones. They sound far better than the basic Apple earbuds that everyone has.The bad: 1. They have a lot of cord noise. By that I mean if the cord rubs against your zipper or is bouncing around while you walk, all of those vibrations will go right to your ear. You will definitely hear a lot of that kind of noise. I now have a different kind of in-ear headphones, and the cord noise is far less. (There will probably always be a certain amount of cord noise with in-ear headphones.) This is the biggest problem with these headphones.2. After about 11 months of frequent use, the plastic wire casing beside the microphone button on the cord came away from the little button box, exposing the electrical wire. They still work fine, but I had to wrap tape around the cord beside the microphone button to prevent further harm. So now they look pretty ugly. I keep them around to use while at my desk in case I don't have my new headphones with me.3Love the soundI got this in-ear headpohones at $17, I've been using them for a couple of days now. Love the sound, it's pretty well balanced, strong bass and overall a great perfomance.They come with 3 earbud sizes, I tried the medium at first but after an hour of using them my ears started to hurt every time so I've been trying on the small size since today and they seem to be the most comfortable size for me so far.Keep in mind the "controls" on this set does not include a Volume Up or Down, it's a small plastic "block" with the mic on the back and on the front a button that in my case, iPhone 4S, can Play-Pause/ Skip to Next Song/ Activate Siri, I cannot turn the volume up nor down with this, not a problem for me but it might be for you so take that into account.Will update with changes if I encounter any problem.5Good product, but not durable enough for extended normal usePros:Cheap ($8) on saleIn ear headphones with a set of different earbuds for different size earsMic quality is good, no complaints even when the mic is just danglingVery good sound quality on the low end, I guess Soul likes bassRight angle insert is good for devices that go into pocketsCons:Long term durability is somewhat lacking. After about 3 months of use, the insulation from the cord on the mic started to detach on both ends. I never wrapped the cords tightly or pulled them vigorously, just the normal wear and tear from use caused the insulation to wear and break around the mic, eventually allowing the wire to become damaged. I now need to buy a new set of some headphones since these no longer work as intendedBottom line:This was quite a good product for the price, but it wasnt made well enough for normal use3Disappointed in quality.I'm extremely disappointed in these headphones. I used them for only 3 months before the wires started ripping out around the microphone AND where the two wires split for each ear. The sound quality was great (that deserves a star!) and they FELT like they would be more durable out of the package. Not so much...I'd previously purchased much cheaper headphones on Amazon with only slightly less sound quality but surprisingly good for price (under $5, if I'm remembering correctly!) and they lasted over a year before the wires ripped out.I was nice to these headphones. They never traveled wadded up in a ball in my purse or pocket like my previous cheaper pair. I'm disappointed they didn't last long.I won't be replacing, knowing there are better, cheaper pairs out there that will last longer.2Pretty much perfect headphonesPretty much perfect headphones. I'm the type of person who doesn't really spend over $20 on sunglasses, I'll break them or lose them. I'm starting to feel that way about headphones after this buy.-Sound quality here is totally acceptable-Microphone for iPhone works just fine, no complaints from people I've been talking to.-One button control is nice. 1 click to accept calls, hang up, pause, play, 2 clicks to skip, and 3 clicks to reverse tracks. Only minor complaint is the button is flush (no tactile distinction) so it's a bit hard to find without looking-They fit my ears perfectly and are lightweight enough to stay put-Cord is just thick enough to keep from tangling-They've been in my back pocket for a couple of weeks now, held up great to being sat on.-If I break or lose these, I'm definitely buying another pair. Nice "roll out" Luda. Hopefully future iPhones won't make the 1/8th inch jack incompatible...5it works great and people can hear me with no issues at ... But I ended up using these as my main headset because they're comfy, have a good sound, and are multi-functional (have the mic). Also the packaging is very nice. 5I just bought a pair of $100 over the near headphones for extra nice quality at homeI'm pissed. As promised, the button plays nicely with Android in terms of answering calls.I'm leaving 5 stars because I was absent-minded enough to send them through the wash in a pair of jeans. A spin-cycle and 60 minutes in a dryer later, the headphones still work perfectly when I had every expectation that they'd be destroyed. Their durability is hugely impressive, and they've now temporarily absorbed the pleasant smell of fabric softener.5
