Fantastic fit on S8+ Installed the protectors on two S8+ phones. Online instructions were thorough and easy to follow. Plenty of application fluid included. Cut outs fit perfectly around lenses and other sensors. Best part is the wet application so you can adjust it perfectly once laid down. The sides on the curved edge of the phone laid down perfectly with no peeling issues. Works well with the Lohasic hybrid cases, film and case don't interfere, perfect match. Film has a smooth texture, not grabby or rubbery, but probably not as smooth as a glass protector. No complaints on touch responsiveness or finger glide-ability. Completely happy with it and has worked flawlessly. Hardly notice it on the phone, just fits and functions perfectly. Have used it for about a month now with it going in and out of pockets several times a day. Zero issues and film has stayed in place flawlessly. 5Easy To install I really like the coverage and protection of this screen protector. It comes with clear instructions and everything you need for a flawless install. I normally make my husband do these things, but this time I was impatient and decided to do it myself. First time, no problem.About a week after I installed my previous screen protector, I noticed a crack across the top and I freaked out. It was barely noticeable and only if you held the phone at a certain angle. I will admit my heart skipped a beat. I gently pried the cracked screen protector off and examined my phone. My screen was completely intact, not a scratch. I quickly started searching for a replacement. This one arrived and I got it installed quickly, before any damage was done to my phone. 5Best protectors for the price, without a doubt I tried a couple of other inexpensive screen protectors for my S8+ and they just weren't very good, particularly due to the edges peeling up soon after being installed.I had used Skinomi protectors on my Nokia N900 and my HTC One M8, and after reading some of the other reviews, I ordered these.The application process was easy, and I definitely recommend watching the installation video so you're aware of the steps. You don't need to worry about getting your phone too wet while applying the screen protector, due to its IP68 rating (it's resistant to water ingress for 30 mins for up to 1.5m depth, a few droplets won't hurt it). Just squeegee out the air bubbles gently, then let it sit for a few hours (or overnight). Any bubbles should disappear by morning, and the screen will look fine.The protector feels smooth to the touch, but you can see a slightly textured surface on the scree when you hold the phone at an angle. It doesn't seem to affect the display quality.Screen coverage is good and I'm happy to say it sticks fine to the curved edges, but note that it doesn't cover the screen completely. There is a slight gap of about 1/8" between the screen protector and the edge of my Otterbox Symmetry case.I deducted one star because there were little bits of material on the edge of the screen protector, almost as if the blade was a little dull during the cutting process, and little bits of the screen protector material were still attached to it. It's easy to trim, but you want to be careful so you don't end up with a lopsided edge if you trim too much by accident.Overall, these are probably among the best screen protectors out there at an unbeatable price. 4Good Customer Service, Extremely Poor Product. First, I'd like to say that Skinomi does have some excellent customer support. I did contact them to ask for some replacement screen protectors, and they did send them immediately. And I thank them for the prompt and courteous service. However, I can't even add a star for that because these protectors are soooo bad.First off, they tell you to watch a 5 minute video. While this is necessary, following the video to a T will not have you replicating the results. They have you put a soapy, water solution onto the protector so you are able to slide it around on the phone. While it seems like this could be a valid solution, the residue it leaves behind is unsightly. I even suffered through 6 days of THE UGLIEST looking screen just to see if the bubbles and film would go away (as advised by customer service and the video). However, this is not the case. In fact, if anything, it gets worse as days pass. The screen protector itself is high quality. If it could be applied to the phone without issue, that'd be great.UPDATED: I did increase the rating from one star to three stars because of excellent customer service. They sent me more protectors to try and still refunded my money for my dissatisfaction. I cannot complement their customer service enough and they are a great company to deal with. I still don't care for this product though. 3Almost perfect I was a bit skeptical of this screen protector since it was a wet application protector. I've used a skinomi wet application screen protector for my galaxy tab s in the past, and did not like the look and feel of it.But I can honestly say that skinomi has come a long way in those few years. This screen protector is excellent. It offers great protection and is almost completely unnoticeable on your phone. Another plus is the fact that the screen protector can 'repair'itself if it gets scratched, to a certain extent. Many times since I've applied it, I would find different abrasions on the screen that after a few hours/days would fill back in.My only complaint is that while the shape is fine for the length of the phone, the sides fall a little short, and doesn't offer complete protection, depending on the placement.Pros:*Easy application*Completely invisible (won't alter image quality)*Self healing of most scratches, divots and dents*2 in a box with links to application instructions*No overly rubbery feel like past TPU protectorsCons:*Can be misaligned and not cover the screen fully*Application solution bottle could be bigger 4The Only Success I've had with S8+ Screen Protectors So I've gone thru a ton of tempered glass covers from here on Amazon and they were all trash; they all only had adhesive on the edges, and even the "Case Friendly" ones dont work with the slimmest of cases.I pulled the trigger on this screen protector to try out a standard screen protector instead of tempered glass, and I couldn't be happier so far. The application is slightly messy with the spray and whatnot but it actually works, and stuck to my screen as soon as I started to squeegee the liquid out from under the cover with a card (per the instructions). Within 10 minutes it was form fitted to the curves, and all the cases I own (both large and slim) work perfectly with this cover.I would prefer that the screen protector go higher up pas the ear speaker and camera to cover the whole glass, and lower on the screen to give full coverage, but it does span from side to side with most cases so I'm very happy it as it seems to cover 95% of the glass on the front of the phone.I likely will stick with Skinomi for S8+ screen protectors for as long as I have this phone as the product seems to be high quality. 5Best option I have found for curved displays I usually only use tempered glass screen protectors for my phones but the options are limited at the moment for curved displays. I have used TPU wet screen protectors in the past but prefer the feel of tempered glass. Anyways, I followed the youtube video on how to apply the screen protector to the curved display, but I can't get it to adhere completely on the curve no matter what I do. I have tried twice and it turns out the same way both times. I aligned the screen protector with my Diztronic case on to ensure no problems there as well, still no luck. 3Protects an Expensive Phone Like a Champ My boyfriend keeps his phone in his pocket and it always gets scratched up. When we got the S8+, I wanted to make sure he had a screen protector on it so the screen stays nice and scratch-free (it's an expensive phone after all!)I was looking for screen protectors and the ones I've found were all tempered glass. I have the S8 and I know that the screen is beveled, so a flat piece of tempered glass isn't going to be the best choice. So, I was looking for an alternative. I found this one and read the reviews and liked what I read.I will admit that I'm not used to wet-installation screen protectors, and it took me a few minutes to figure it out. I couldn't get the edges to stick down properly. I watched the video on their website and followed along with the video. Once the protector was in place and the solution had dried, we were good to go. (Tip from me to you, use a store card to get any air bubbles out!)In terms of protecting the screen, it works really well. While he was working outside, he put his keys in his pocket, forgetting that his phone was in there. The keys scratched the surface of the screen and all he had to do was rub the microfiber cloth (included) and you couldn't tell there were any scratches.I'm very impressed with this screen protector kit! 5Best Screen protectors period!!! - If you follow the directions! I don't usually give a lot of reviews for products I purchase from Amazon,but I had to say, these are BY FAR the best screen protectors I have ever purchased. Follow the directions on the YouTube video, and use the spray to wet the screen protector to line it up, squeegee it lightly to get the majority of the water out and after 24 hours all of the bubbles, marks and scratches are gone, and it is flawless!!I was discouraged after seeing it when I awoke the next morning, bubbles everywhere, but I was patient and let it sit for another 12 hours and it was perfect!!! Truly an exceptional screen protector....I will be using these from now on!Thank you! 5Going In the Trash Awful product. Not only is it the most difficult screen protector I've ever installed, but even after following the website's directions for proper install, there are these wierd smudges underneath the screen protector (on the adhesive side) that won't go away. I will be buying another protector from a different brand. 1
