    Sirio Turbo 5000 PL CB Mobile Antenna The Sirio Turbo 5000 PL CB antenna performs better than expected. Currently I am running a Uniden Bearcat Side band CB. I am getting clear reception and transmission for a distance of 9 miles on upper side band channels. The finish and looks of this antenna is better than photos depict. Once mounted to my truck, within 4 inches of the truck cab, I was pleased to note that the first 2 feet of this antenna, at the base, is substantially rigid. During normal city and some off road driving the antenna has not contacted the truck cab. Future plans include adding a amp to my system to increase power. 5Very satisfied. Seems to do what a 102" steel antenna ... Very satisfied. Seems to do what a 102" steel antenna does as far as boosting transmit and receive but in a 6 ft antenna. Liked it so much and the way it performs that I ordered another one.. 5Awesome antenna!!!! I will never buy another wilson antenna again. Sirio is my new antenna of choice. 5Best 10 and 11 meter Antenna hands down I've had them all and the sirio series antennae is the best in all categories hands down. I've got 3 turbo 5000 antennas. 2 just for back up in case they stop making the antenna for future use. it's the closet thing to a 102 inch whip on the market performance wise. I. talk frequently to the United Kingdom and all Over Europe when DX is favorable on this antenna. k-40 and Wilson? worlds apart from this antenna. 5Better than my Wilson 5000 talking to people that I never could even hear before. Speaking to Europe from NY regularly as well as the Caribbean 5Awesome Best antenna ever used I have more ears and I get further will definitely buy again 5Works, but brings in a lot of static too I had great hopes for this antenna, but with the mag mount it did not work out so well. The mag mount has issues with grounding. I was able to get the antenna down to 1.2:1 with the mag mount in the middle of the roof. Other antennas' , i.e. Wilson 1000, I am able to get a 1:1 ratio. I get a lot more background static and noise with this antenna. Transmit seems comparable. 4SHOP NO FURTHER They've have various designs of these antennas throughout the years (I have 2), and whether you're talking on 10 or 11 meters you'll find near flat SWR. Originally called the "Big Bubba", this antenna equaled or usually out-performed a Wilson 1000 without the needless time spent trying to saw through a Wilson whip to get to the right SWR reading (and finding out you cut too far). These all bend (fold over) at one point or the other which makes it great for quickly dashing out of the truck, then back in, to get into the garage. The "Big Bubba" disappeared for several years, so when the design popped up under the Sirio label I made sure I had a back stock. The oldest antenna is 8 years old and looks like crap. It works, but the truck is new, so I bought 2 more - one to use, and one to keep stock on. I was a Wilson 1000 man until I tried the "Big Bubba" (first thing I did was un-peel that stupid name off the antenna base) and that was 20 years ago. 4Sirio 5000 Mobile 10 11 meter Antenna got a little banged up in shipping but it works great SWR from the factory were 1.2 to 1.5 all across 10 11 and 12 meter bands 5Pennsylvania to Jamaica, Barbados, Florida, Georgia, and more! Incredible antenna for a great price! I live in Pennsylvania, and regularly make contacts from Florida to the Barbados to Jamaica to Georgia, and all around. Receive is very clear. I use a Stryker SR94-HPC Converted to run 11 m (CB) I have the Stryker CB antenna, But the Santana out performs a but this antenna is so much better . I would highly recommend the San I would highly recommend it. 5
