    Not great but does the job.Adds a little extra thump to my marine tuner on my pontoon boat. Reasonably priced.3Great Out these on my boat to work with the wake tower speakers, good balance 5Four Stars Good so far! Sounds decent and can't beat the price! 4Good speakers for the money First off, would have given 5 stars but it did not come with a pattern to cut out a hole in my custom built box. With the small lip, its hard to guess\measure where to cut the hole, but I made it work. Other than that, great speakers. Put 1 in my Rhino side-by-side under the drivers seat and paired it with a PYLE PLMRA420 4-Channel 1,000-Watt also purchased from amazon (run my door speakers off of the other 2 chanels). Hits hard for an 8" 400w, although I know pyle has a tendancy to over-rate their products wattage (and also, due to lack of room under the rhino's seat, my box was only .6ish cubic feet which is below the recommended .7 - 1.0 cubic feet for 8" subs). But it hits hard enough for me. Seems to be holding up pretty well as far as the "marine" part goes, but its only been 2 weeks and 1 powerwashing session, but it still works. You cant beat this speaker for the money. And if it breaks.....get another! 20 bucks aint bad for a marine sub if it'll last a year 4You get what you pay for.I was looking for a replacement sub for one that had blown in my boat. I should have saved the money spent on this and applied it to a higher grade sub. This unit does not handle low frequencies very well. It will soon be replaced with a another JL Audio or higher end unit. I should have known, but I stepped out on a limb here. They sound great. Good price. Good value.5sounded great until it blewsounded great until it blew.... dont try and put all 500 watts into it, they dont last long that way... try half that maybe.2
