    Almost perfect, but had issues with the consistency of the finish I had to exchange a few of these due to issues with the quality of the finish. I originally purchased one of each finish, Bright Chrome, Brushed Chrome, and Satin Nickel. I finally settled on Satin Nickel. The Bright Chrome showed finger prints, and the Brushed Chrome looked too much like aluminum. Unfortunately, I had to exchange a few of these due to imperfections in the finish. These imperfections included particles in the finish, scratches, and inconsistency in the look of the finish.Home Depot and Lowes carry the same handle lever, the strike plates are a different finish from the levers purchased from Amazon. The Amazon levers have a strike plate finish that's between the brushed and bright chrome handle lever finishes, the store purchased levers have a more dull finish on the strike plate.Someone complained about the levers not being level, this is due to improper installation. Make sure to pull up on the lever a little when tightening the screws. 4These door handles are stunning! I'm going replace my ... These door handles are stunning! I'm going replace my entire house with this style. It's doesn't feel cheap when in operation and it gives the door an elegant/ unique look. 5Solid Lever These levers are very classy. Love the finish and feel of them compared to most polished door knobs. Only complaint is that the privacy lever in particular, on the locking side, takes a quarter turn before it engages the mechanism. Not sure how else to explain, but it just feels kind of weird to me. My guess is that it has something to do with the locking piece of the lever, but it is still kind of annoying. And for those out there like me that hate when door knobs have play... This lever is pretty darn good. 4Hate the 90 degree turn to open door I don't like that it takes a full 90 degree turn to open the door. The handle has to be vertical to open the door. Other manufacturers open with a 45 degree turn. 1Easy good looking and very functional lever replacement for door knobs My wife's birthday gift wish this year was to replace all the door knobs in our house with levers for easier use. These look great, work very well, and were very easy to install in place of my existing door knobs. For 7 doors, I only needed $200 worth of levers and 2 hours to install all of them.This particular model replaced two dummy door knobs that don't actually need to turn, but just pull open a furnace and closet door.Definitely recommended! 5Easy to install and does the job The items is extremely easy to install. The parts were nicely packaged in the box and you won't even have to read the instructions. The quality of the lock is fine, its a bit flimsy and easily get damaged if you use a little force on the lever while its locked, but then again this is top be use for interior doors. 4Easy to install, looks great Okay, granted we just got this installed this week, but so far it is exactly what I needed. I paired this with the keyless deadbolt from Schlage for my front door. This handle is simple and elegant and matches the look of the keyless lock above it. It was a simple install and works great. The brushed finish is my favorite because it doesn't show fingerprints the way the shiny finish does. And since both are by Schlage, the finish also matches perfectly. And I really love the feel of this handle. I know that seems a bit silly, but it's the edges make it easy to grip when I'm opening the door. Not much else to say on this one -- very satisfied. 5Love these door handles - have on all of our ... Love these door handles - have on all of our interior doors. We have both these Passage ones, and the corresponding ones that can be locked with a key and/or button (master bed/office), and the ones that can be locked using only a button (bathrooms). Both work great and love the look. A great, reasonably priced, more contemporary look alternative to all of the "curvey" more traditional handles (which we are not fans of). Superb quality, heavy and solid. Would recommend. 5Beautiful but beware Dummy lever is only for one side of the door These are beautiful well-made door knobs that go well with our contemporary decor. My husband had no trouble installing them -- it only took about 10 minutes for the first one when he was still learning how to do it. Of note is that the Dummy lever is only for one side of the door -- so if your doors are like ours, and need a dummy lever (handle) on both sides, order two. The regular door knobs, of course, come with a handle for both sides of the door. We're very happy with this purchase. 5No backplate...in case your door already has a hole in it I bought the Schlage Latitude series for all of my house and highly recommend it, but this dummy is for doors that have not had a hole drilled previously. When I ordered this one, I thought it would come with a backplate of some sort to cover any hole (although, when I took the time to go back and read it, the description clearly said the package contained 1 piece, so it was my error). My house was built in 1964, and a previous owner had put handles inside and outside the door to the A/C unit, so I had to return this particular handle.Just wanted to save another customer the inconvenience (and $6+ return postage) by saying that it won't work if a hole has already been drilled for a handle in your door. 5
