It handled exceptionally well, fit my hand perfectly, and was not overly weighty. The head is sturdy without being unforgiving. A great purchase! 5Do not buy this product After light use the handle snapped in half. This is the 22nd day I've had the hammer and maybe the 8th time I've used it. I used it simply to make sure all my fittings were tight (by hitting my wrench with it) so liquids wouldn't come out of my tanker hoses.I can not stress how light the work I used the hammer for and it simply snapped at the handle. 1ONE OF MY MOST USED TOOLS This hammer is so useful - you never realize it until you've had one and it disappears. I was fortunate to inherit some of my Dad's old tools and his rubber hammer was one I used quite often. One day I had to have some house repairs made and a contractor came in with a few helpers. They were around for a week or so and set up shop inside my garage due to inclement weather. A couple months later I went to use my rubber hammer and couldn't find it where I always kept it on an open shelf in my garage. I searched and searched for it then remembered the workmen..... I really miss having my Dad's old hammer - when I used it it was like he was there helping me out. 5Useful tool to have My daughter is always telling me that I need to "build up" my limited toolbox.I needed this item to put together a side table to go beside my reading chair.It worked as I expected and I can see how it is a useful tool to have. 5Stop! Hammer Time. Love this hammer. What is there not to love? You can pound the crap out of stuff and not have the annoying ringing sound a traditional steel hammer makes. Plus it doesn't dent of scar the items you're putting together. 5
