    DisappointedI purchased these while my boat was in the shop being worked on. When, I got my boat back I installed these and one of the speakers had a crackling sound coming from it. It got worse when you turned the volume up. I checked all the connections and they were all good. I then contacted the seller and after a couple of attempts to reach them was told sorry because it was past 30 days since I bought them but I could send it in for an inspection if I wanted. VERY DISAPPOINTING1Blew after a month.A month after buying 2 sets of these for my boat one of them blew. They are being powered by a Rockville amp. I sent rockville an email and after not hearing back for several days I called them. The guy on the phone tells me to ship it back. I shipped the defective speaker back and get an email a week later saying that I need to ship the other speaker back as well since they are sold in a pair, of course I had to pay the shipping. I was originally pretty excited about their amp and speakers because of the cost but I will never buy their products again1QualityThe sound and quality is far better then expected. Actually got pulled over for radio on bike being too loud. Installed Rockville 6x8 in fairing and made custom pods for 8" 2 way Rockville soeakers. Sound incredible and LOUD. Thanks for making such a great product5Very loud and clear sound..I installed this on my boat along with a smaller pair of clarion speakers and a Polk stereo with no amp. On the weekend I went out with my boat to the usual hanging spot for partygoers at the sandbar off Peanut island in South Florida. Met up with my neighbor in his new large expensive boat and pulled and anchored alongside him. Turned the music up and drowned out his sound system immediately, his first question was, if I had an amp installed. Nope, just a regular deck. These speakers are loud and clear, definitely worth the money. Only time will tell if it will last in the harsh saltwater environment.5Nice speakers, but make sure they will fit.Good looking speaker with great sound. The construction is rustproof and durable. The issue I had with the speakers was the size. The basket is larger than other speakers of the same size. I replaced 6.5" inch Polk speakers. I had to use the Dremel to enlarge the mounting hole by 1/2 inch. I installed the speakers on the swim platform of my 2014 Yamaha 242 Ltd.4LED controlsLEDs come on immediately when powered up, but the remote will not control them. No way to change colors, brightness, speed, etc. The instruction say "The remote signal can pass through most obstacles". I have no obstacles between my remote and the module. DOES NOT WORK. The remote has a "RF Wireless" lettering and logo on the face, but also has an IR transmitter on the end. Wrong remote? Unable to contact seller to rectifty. I need to replace the speakers in my V-birth and I didn't want to break the bank. I had just installed some JL Audio speakers and subwoofer in my deck where I play the music the loudest. These speakers sound great in the cabin. 5The enclosure makes all the difference in the worldI put these speakers in a pre-made plastic box that straddles the hump in front of the shift levers. Project went smooth with no problems. The sound is great. I was losing a lot of sound when driving without doors. These speakers make up for that. A great investment for the Jeep.5Tweeters popI had100 Watts of clean continuous power to them and the heat from the voicecoil melted the plastic cone and separated. Got a replacement and same thing .. but before that they sounded great . I have s pair as my garage speakers and love them.. mixed review but honest3Great sound!I found a pair of $1200 Rockustics speakers at a thrift store and the speakers were blown. Yes, these are $600 each speakers that look like rocks, used mostly and resorts and etc. I ordered these to replace the blown speakers, and I am blown away by how they sound. Waiting on my silicone so that I can seal the speakers again once again. Oh, and by the way, I did have to take off the grills, which was fine. I just know that many of the marine speakers on here do not have removable grills. I'm looking forward to having these babies on my patio!5
