On their second day of use, as our boat was cruising through some choppy water (Lake Washington, WA), the housing broke due to the chop and the speaker fell from the tower, ripped through the dinky wire leash, broke the speaker connection, and hit a passenger in my boat in the head.To add insult to injury, I tried to return the speakers but the seller wouldn't accept the return, they claimed that "The only way this would break is from physically [sic] damage, either it hitting into something or abuse." As if I would buy a set of speakers and damage them purposefully??? The only damage that happened was when the speaker broke out of its housing and knocked a passenger in the head.I'm not happy that the seller would not accept my return, and that I paid over $100 (incl shipping back to the vendor) to essentially injure my friend. However, at this point I'm more concerned that the seller is willingly blind to the fact that their product is dangerous, and is not looking out for the best interests of their customers. I will never buy anything from them again and I hope after reading this that you won't as well.Finally, I also posted a picture of the Kicker 41KW604W speakers that I bought as a replacement, so you can see the towers they were installed on and visualize the incident. Also, the kicker speakers have aluminum housing, far stronger than the cheap plastic of the listed Rockville speakers.1Very niceThese speakers sound amazing. Although after 6 months I have one that is not working correctly. Id say these are good for the price.3Cheap speakers in an Okay enclosureAfter 3 months I had one of the speakers stop working. Instead of uninstalling and paying for shipping I replaced the speaker inside with a boss 8" speaker for $20. Major difference in sound quality between the two. Save your money and get something else unless you plan to just use the enclosures.3Gotta have an amp!Installed these a couple days ago without an amp n was pretty disappointed...almost sent em back but figured for the price I could get a small amp to go with em! That's where its at!!!! 500 watt 2 channel amp really makes these come to life! I'd buy em again tomorrow. Crystal clear highs n mids and impressive lows for the price!5Rockvillle RWB80B wake speakers thumbs up lolLol was a bit bigger than I expected lol that s my bad lol but they sound good so far looking forward to putting a amp on them an see how much better they will sound just hope they hold up as good as they look there mounting screws an especially the nuts could stand so improvements that so far is my only complaint when mounted them didn t like where I put an when try to move it most of the nuts an screws pulled the threads but got threw it got them remounted an all is good now lol except for the screws an nuts am very satisfied with them if they hold up as well as they look an seem to be build will be very happy with them only time will tell I ride in a lot of mud an ruff ground so time will tell5Works wellWhen I opened the box there was a damaged mold to hold the nut in place for tightening. I had to wedge a screwdriver into it to act as a brace to remove the nut. Installation is all based from where you mount them and to what you mount them. They ve worked well for me since the install.3
