Customer Reviews

converterI have had one working for several months now and does ok. A better alternative would be audiocontrol LC2i. I have one inanother car.3Couldn't be happier with itCouldn't be happier with it. Pretty much a direct swap from my heap unit to the adapter it came with. Easy installation5Worked without issue, still going.works perfectly for conversion of line audio to RCA. Ised this and a 2 channel in my 2011 Mercedes E350 in the rear, feeding off the factory amplifier where the fiber optic goes in. No issues with this solution, no additional noises, alternator whine, ground issues, nothing. Worked perfectly for the price. I've had them installed 11 months now and no problems.5Works perfectly and allows me to keep my factory radioExactly what I needed for my 2015 Tacoma so I could install an amplifier and upgrade all my speakers... no complaints, works as expected, and fit behind my factory radio perfectly. This is a must if you want to keep a factory radio and install an amplifier.5Not great, get the PAC one insteadThis is a pretty bare bones LOC. It doesn't have a remote turn on wire (for use with factory stereos that don't have a wire for remote turn on from an aftermarket amp) or any gain controls. Just speaker level inputs and RCA outs. I got a lot of noise (huge amount of background hiss) with this LOC even though I grounded both ground wires to metal/chassis. I dumped this one and installed a PAC LP7-4 L.O.C. PRO Series 4-Channel Line Output Converter with Remote Turn On instead, which cost a little more but was about the same size but had a remote turn on wire and gain controls (two, one for front and one for rear outputs). I hooked that one up and the hiss was gone and I could use the gain controls to fine tune my audio system (my compact Clarion Mobile Electronics XC1410 D-Class 4-Channel Amplifier doesn't have gain controls).2AvoidYou get what you pay for. It's cheap but this LOC box would cut out signal to one side if I turned the music up to half of my stereo's limit (which was loud enough to clearly hear the music with the two front windows down at highway speeds.)1Easy to install and does what it is supposed to ...Easy to install and does what it is supposed to do. Great to connect an amp to any factory radio.5Blown Away!I am beyond blown away by this product. I was a little upset when I found that my new car had climate controls built into the head unit and could not be replaced with my aftermarket one. After doing a lot of looking around I decided to give this product a try. I am actually running 6 channels off of this adapter (split the rear output into rear and sub woofer) and they are all as clear as can be. I was able to tune my amps to match the very rich signal this item puts out. I have seen people use things like this for subs and it seams no matter how high they turn the gain on their amps up, they can not get the amp to put enough out off the signal. I am actually running my 4 channel amp at min gain with the mid and treble on the stock head unit at -2, this thing puts out such a powerful signal. The sub amp has the gain turn about a quarter of the way up but i control that with an inline bass remote. Overall the system sounds great and I am so happy I have my 1500 watt Alpine sound system going again!PS: one review said at low volumes he was getting a little bit of noise, just so buyers know this IS NOT the device doing this. Noise is caused by a grounding issue. The easiest fix for additional noise is to turn the gains on the amps down and if that makes it too quiet, turn the signal up on the head unit.5Four more channels for my ampsGood product very easy to install. Only complaint i have is at low volumes, it has a little bit of static through the speakers. Other that the static, its a great product. I have three amps in my car. (2) four channels amps for music highs and mids. And (1) amp pushing (2) 15's for the lows. Very good product. This company also sent me an 8 gauge amp wiring kit, which i didnt pay for. I dont know if they messed up or were being nicce. But thank you. Will buy from this seller again5GoodGood5
