    A good replacement but get the correct tips.This is a good replacement or upgrade iron for older versions found on stations such as the Solomon SL-30. Be aware that old style tips are not compatible with this style iron. This one uses the new tips that can be identified by the white covering of the tip up to about 1/4" from the end. 5OK Replacment but not GoodIt works OK for My Station. Thge tips it self are not getting hot the way it should be. It's not like original one. My original Station was from SPC Technology which is no longer in business. But taken by DURATOOL 4004 Station sold by NewArk. They want a $12.00 for Iron but you have to buy 10 of them.
