Perfect.5Excellent product - very uniqueExcellent product - very unique, and exactly what I was looking for. I use this to hold a Uniden Home Patrol 2 scanner during road trips. It allows great flexibility in terms of positioning and it can easily be put away when not being used. I already had the mounting arm from a RAM Mount suction cup setup to use with this - and everything swaps perfectly from one RAM mount to another. Another reviewer requested an inflator be added for wider seat gaps - my car actually has a very tight fit and doesn't need an inflator; however, I spoke to RAM Mounts at their CES booth recently and was told they may be releasing this product later on with an inflator (though there was no release date, I believe it's still just being considered - don't hold me to that!). As long as there isn't a very large gap between your seat and console, this product should work in most applications.5Easy, secure, no-drill mountI use this to hold a ham radio, and it's super solid. I can easily pivot the radio down when parking so it's not so obvious, or pull the whole thing out. It doesn't get in the way of the passenger like it seems the floor mounted ones would. Very happy with it.5Nice wedge-mount but a little too skinny to hold solid.The Wedge is a little too skinny, leaving too much room between the seat and center console. I had to add a small pad to hold the Wedge in tightly. I drive a F-450 with standard leather seats. Would be nice if RAM offered selective cushioning/spacing, to add or remove for different seat configurations. Or possibly, an inflatable insert. Good idea, just needs some work.3
