I'm sure I will find other uses as well5Very Easy to Mount, Solid Construction, Holds FirmI purchased this with a couple other RAM pieces to hold my Samsung Note 8 phone while riding my Motorcycle - it was easy to install, is solid, and holds firm. I did use the anti-seize on the threads of the screws as they recommend just in case I ever want to take this off and replace down the road (which I doubt I would ever have to).5Great for the money!For a universal fit it looks custom made! Fit directly on top of stock Buell Lightning ( xb12ss ) break reservoir. Supplied screws came in differant sizes so not modification was needed. Used a little locktite as instructions said and ithasnt moved at all. Held a larmram arm, x-mount, and a galaxy s5 with charger on it perfectly fine. Very durable construction and I would buy this again if I broke it on purpose!5Works as described.The mount works as described, and easy to attach. The only problem was is that the screws supplied didn t have the right length, so I had to shim long scerws with small flat washers to get the right length. Yes, I could have cut the bolts, but I already had the washers on hand, so much easier.5Works well but is different than the photoI purchased this mount to for my BMW R1150 GS motorcycle. The mount comes with everything you need except for tools. The mount is NOT an additional reservoir cover, but instead a plate shaped similarly to the cover that mounts above the cover using the covers screw holes and longer screws. The kit actually came with 3 sets of screws of differing lengths. The packaging tells you to be sure to use anti-seize compound on the screws. THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL! One of the screws holding my cover on has refused to come off. I mounted the mount base using just 3 screws for now and its working great. Eventually I'll need to get that other screw out and finish the installation job. I purchased and used a generous amount of special anti-sieze. Apparently the bikes prior owners had used some, but either forgot this screw, or didn't use enough on this screw.4Size of the reservoir cover width and hole placement.Nice mount however it doesn't fit the brake reservoir housing on the Suzuki M109R. Holes does not line up (3/4 " short from the long end). Looking at other low profile Ram mount options for my gopro Hero 5 session. Still love the Ram mounts options.3Rolls Royce of mounts.RAM is like Apple, when you are in the ecosystem you will never change.
