This tool is PERFECT for making angle cuts on the shingles and trim that would otherwise require a miter box and craft saw. 5Cutters These worked good for installing corner round. Wish they had more padding on the handles, but otherwise they worked good 4These were recommended to me by a friend and they have proven ... These were recommended to me by a friend and they have proven to be a great time saver. I have already recommended them to two contractor friends of mine. If you're installing quarter round these shears will keep you from having to go back and forth to the miter saw. Depending on the material you are cutting these may call a small amount of particle dust where you are cutting, but these shears are very easy to use and make very clean cuts. 5Poor quality This item will cut thin plastic trim okay, but it's very difficult to cut even thin wood trim with it. If you need to cut anything except thin plastic trim, you might consider finding something else. Very dissapointed and should have returned it on arrival. 1Does the job They work perfectly. Exactly what I needed for soft wood shoe and quarter round. Only drawback is the marked angles are 90,70,60,45. A little math and you can figure 60 is really 30 . But 70 is useless. I'd prefer a 22.5 for 45 miters. 4I contract for a flooring company as a hardwood installer ... I contract for a flooring company as a hardwood installer and on occasion, we are requested to install shoe mold and quarter-round. The materials we are giving are often very long and a pain to take in and out of homes to be cut on a mitersaw. These shears make my job 1000% easier and faster by allowing quick cutting without having to measure and run from inside the house to the saw outside. Very sharp, very fast, 10/10, would chop again. 5Hard to make accurate cuts. When cutting shoe molding ... Hard to make accurate cuts. When cutting shoe molding it wants to push molding to the side rather than slice, leaving a non straight cut. 2easy to use it worked as suggested. made angling the trim very easy. a few angles we could not get, but the more expensive one has those (can't recall which angle we ended up needing and had to use a miter box for) 4Blade is very very sharp for fine cuts. However Cuts okay, works okay. Blade is very very sharp for fine cuts.However, I was so stupid when I get pricked. I left the shears between my knees and tried to grab the shears again without looking at. That was by accidentally, my right hand thumb got pricked deep and badly from the blade. I'm writing these to review about the blade is very very sharp to cut the trims. So please be careful when use this shears. The photo taken after 3 days from pricked. It looks okay now but it pricked about 5mm deep, 1 cm width. bleeding for 2 days and stopped. I was trying to see a doctor for stitching if not stopping the bleeding after 2 days. 5JUNK. DONT BUY IT. Don t buy, it s junk. Won t work for more than 5 min at a time. Pool guy said this style is junk. Waste of money. 1
