They aren't bad at keeping out dust- Pyramex safety eyewear is made ... I've got a large head- these glasses fit well without excess pressure- can wear them for hours without difficulty. The same holds for a friend that wears a much smaller hat. They aren't bad at keeping out dust- Pyramex safety eyewear is made for that (as well as minimizing fogging).Overall this company is hard to beat for quality/price ratio. The workmanship/ quality/ materials are top notch.The only suggestion- and given the price, it's icing on the cake- is that a bag/cover/clip-on case would be nice: the lenses are scratch resistant, they aren't impervious. When closed, the frames have a big profile, and it's a challenge to find something that can protect them from scratches.From now on, this is my go to company for protective eyewear. 5Their color gradients can leave you feeling like you are having a stroke until you get used ... I've been using these for two years now and still continue to buy them. I am on my third pair but only due due to self caused failures. One pair bit the dust when the lens (and my face) met the bottom of a rough concrete pool. The next while building my chicken coup... the glasses saved my eye from a protruding nail head (hence the z87 rating)Negatives:They may fog a bit if its hot and no air flow. Their color gradients can leave you feeling like you are having a stroke until you get used to them.The real reason I like these, using any old rag to clean them won't scratch them. I have yet to see any micro abrasion scratches, just the massive ones mentioned above. I will contiue to buy these until they are no longer offered. 5Go to glasses for industrial situations My husband loves these glasses so much I had to order multiple pairs. We originally found them in a western clothing store in Arizona. He loved that they were safety rated for the mine and wore them until they were so scratched he had to get different ones. He was really sad when we went back and they no longer carried them. When I found them on amazon he was so excited and I have ordered them multiple times because he loves them so much. 5Fit tight on temples and close to forehead Fits snugly, maybe to snug for some. They easily get oils from my brow on the lens - ugh! But these are safety glasses so they should fit snug. I just hope they actually provide UVA/UVB protection. I use these as regular sunglasses, figure they hold up better than most and give true wraparound protection.For the price they are worth a try, unless you have a large melon of a head, then I would say find a different pair. 3Pinch my head too tightly The shape of the lenses and frame is fine, but I find the arms pinch my head too much and give me a headache after awhile. This could be the fault of my giant head, but if they were made out of a less rigid material (e.g. thinner) they may fit a wider range of people. 3Mirror lenses are awful I really like this Goliath model of safety glasses. They are really comfortable and keep the scratches away for a good long time. So I bought this indoor/outdoor mirrored pair because the mirroring is supposed to block UV rays, I work in a fabrication shop and often catch arc flashes out of the corner of my eye from across the shop. Might as well have the protection right? The problem is that the mirror coating has this wierd double vision distortion. I can't even wear these things, they screw with my eyes so bad. Definitely would not recommend the mirror lenses, awful. 2Union construction worker I wear these everyday and have been for a few months now .... they hold up pretty well, starting to see some scratches but that's because I clean them with my t shirt. These glasses will make you look better and faster than your co workers so be prepared for more responsibilities as your workload will increase tenfold. I was wearing these on a Hospital job and a random woman asked if I would deliver her baby... I told her let me wash my hands first. And now the world has welcomed the birth of baby Odell Beckham Finklestien at 8lbs 7oz. 4Wicked awesome glasses! I LOVE these glasses! I looked all over Amazon for sunglasses in this shape. I figured I'd give these a try. They fit me perfectly! I'll try to have my wife take a picture to post on here sometime. I don't use them as safety glasses, but I guess when I'm mowing and trimming this summer I'll feel a little better when I kick up a rock. I'm ordered another pair as a backup just in case. Highly recommend! 5C'mon, this is hard to beat. It's hard to argue with the price, and even harder still to argue with the performance! Look, it is what it is, but I'll be damned if you can find better for less! They are cheap and they feel like it, they are heavy and large by comparison to others, but they work! They kill the rays and let you see the world around with little to no squint. They look cool, but they are big sunglasses, bigger then you might think.I like them and if push comes to shove, I'd buy them again without hesitation. They fit a little snug on a medium size head but don't let that scare you, for the price, we all know a friend to pass along good fortune should you decide to do so. These may or may not be your everyday goto glasses, but they will very likely be your stand by. 4Worth it! Second pair of these glasses. I use these as my everyday sunglasses with the plus side of it being polarized and safety rated, I know my eyes are protected anywhere I use them. My first pair was a little over 2 years old before I decided it was time to replace it, as the plastic paint coating near the nose area and edges of the lenses were starting to peel. 5
