    Awesome replacementWho knows where my original Dremel is? It's somewhere in the house, but heck if I know where.I was looking for a while, and compared to all the other knockoffs, this had the best specs and decent reviews. I received it a few weeks ago, but just today had an opportunity to use it. I have nothing negative to say, it is a great replacement. Can do high RPM as well as low, and all my Dremel brand attachments work fine.I used it at high speed for a solid 15 minutes - no problems whatsoever. 5Pro-Series PS07425 Rotary Tool Kit, 42-PieceA well made tool despite the low cost. This replace my broken Dremal . I am happy with it. The kit is complete. Those who had a problem with the flexible shaft did not read the instruction or are just not a mechanical incline type of person. 4Wife loves it!Wife uses this when she makes jewelry and she loves it. She really likes the extension and says it saves her hands and wrists from more extensive labor. 5Tool ok, cord not so muchFirst off, I bought this because I needed a rotary tool for some light, occasional use and didn't want to spend the extra $$ for a Dremel brand rotary tool. Primary uses will be buffing small parts, and cleaning the edges of drilled or machined parts.I comes in a fairly nice storage case, and a so-so selection of bits. It has exactly TWO burrs which are the only tools I'll ever use. OK, for the price no complaints, yet.Now, the power cord. Holy jeeebuz! You'd might think this thing draws the current of a 1/2" Milwaukee drill motor based on the OD of the cord. If that weren't weird enough, as with most cheap chinky made garbage, the plastic used in the power cord sheath makes it as stiff as a wedding dick. It's a little less stiff than a tomato stake. And that's at normal room temperatures. In the cold it would probably be a good substitute for timber spikes. I guess when I get real ambitious or bored, I'll change the cord out to something more appropriate and flexible so I can easly wrap it up to stow in the box it came in. 3I let it cool for 10 minutesDied the first time I used it. It ran for about 2 minutes, then got hot and slowed down and stopped. I let it cool for 10 minutes, and it ran again, but not well. I throw it away. I have several others, some Dremel and some cheep Chinese rotary tools that all still work well, so I use them. 1Tool will do the job, but gets hot relatively ...Tool will do the job, but gets hot relatively quickly. Accessories are junk however. Main problem I have is included flex tool will not work, but then my decision to buy was not due to included flex tool. Will not buy again, will pay a few dollars more to buy Black and Decker or spend a lot more and buy a Dremel 2Perfect rotary toolI bought this tool b/c i refused to pay $40+ for a Dremel brand at my local home depot and i must say im very impressed by its performance. Its built to last and its very sturdy, the buttons on the tool are all located at reasonable distances away from eachother and the variable speed feature is impresive. All the bits included are perfect for any hobby actiities/ project you have in mind. ( mine was making thr NES gamepad into an mp3). Also a nice feature was that Dremel brand bits DO fit this tool. Overall ii would recomend this machine to anyone who is looking for a rotary tool. 5THIS IS KEWLI tried it out when I got it!!!!!!! I love it!!!! Though, it looked as though there were pieces missing from the kit... also, it is a little awkward to control the speed and on/off switch. It is also a little difficult to tighten anything in the flex shaft... but other than that everything works and the adjustable speeds are awesome! 3Five StarsVery good quality and a great price... 5Good deal thus farI'm always on the lookout for a good deal on tools even if they will just be a temporary fix and this set had me curious. Just got it today and I have to admit I am pretty impressed with the tool itself and the accessories so far.Rotary ToolPros: Well first off this thing is a variable speed rotary tool for only 20 bucks. Hard to beat that. Secondly you can easily adjust the speed while the tool is in use and it has 6 numbered speeds but these settings aren't set in stone and it is fully adjustable. The tool itself is pretty solid feeling and it feels as if the case can take a good hit or two.Cons: Placement for the adjustment settings is a little bizarre. The on/off switch and speed adjustment are both at the base where really only your 3rd or 4th fingers will be if you hold it near the base. Holding the tool there just feels very awkward to me and means you'll sacrifice control for being able to adjust the speed or turn it off. My other complaint is the chuck lock is something you have to press and hold down in order to switch out a bit. Makes it a little annoying and also presents a danger to the tool itself if you accidentally press down on the lock while the tool is running.AccessoriesOverall Summary: The tool accessories are relatively plentiful with an emphasis on grinders. There are a couple of drill bits, some etchers, a mandrel, several sanding bands, buffers, cutters, and sanding disks. There is also a flexible shaft that I have yet to fully use. I've only had a problem with the sleeve of it coming out of the screw on base but that was remedied with a few adjustments, brute strength, and some duct tape. The case for the tool and accessories was a pretty decent surprise as well. It has place holders for your bits, a well for the small attachments (buffers, bands, cutting disks), and places for the tool and the flexible shaft. The case is made out of flimsy plastic but it is better than the crappy tool pouch that Black & Decker included in with their rotary tool.Overall this tool set is worth a shot. It obviously isn't the most high end but it isn't a paper weight or recycling fodder either. If anything happens with the tool set I will definitely update my review but so far I have to stick with the 4 stars (removed 1 star for the somewhat crappy control design) because of value and quality that I've seen so far. 4
