Customer Reviews

Good strap, but the Op/Tech is beter....Promaster Cushion Strap - Quick ReleasePros:- reasonably comfortable when carrying a large DSLR camera- is long enough for a tall person (I'm 6/4)- is good quality- has a positive-lock quick release system.Cons:- neck section is NOT contoured to fit a human's curved neck. (Promaster used to make a contoured cushion strap for cameras, but stopped making it for some reason.)- when carrying the camera by its body without having the strap on you neck, the widened part of the strap will catch things. (See the note in my Customer Image.) E.g., with the camera at a table to download images to my PC, the strap-ends repeatedly get hung up on the table edge.Summary:This is an OK strap, but the Op/Tech Pro Camera Strap 3/8", also sold by Amazon, is more comfortable, has neither of this strap's negatives, and is reasonably priced. 3Perfect strap.Great combination of features: elasticity to cushion the jolt of the camera weight at each step, long enough for 7 foot tall person, 4 points of adjustments- both at the camera and higher up the strap, two click-in separation points for enhanced ease of use, non-slip surface on the underside of the strap. These people were actually thinking! Thanks. 5So COMFORTABLE - super softExactly what I was looking for. A super cushion thinner strap that I can carry my Nikon 5100 DSLR comfortably for hours. 5Exactly what I wantedExactly what I wanted, exactly as described and pictured, shipped quick and well, works as expected, great, comfortable, durable neck strap 5ProMaster camera strapI have a Canon camera and the original strap just plain wore out. I do use it a lot. This new cushioned strap is just the thing. The padding is great. I will surely tell other camera users about this product. 5Great lengthWe have three of these straps now. I bought this one for my Sony RX10 camera. I like that the strap is long enough for me to carry my camera crossbody style. It has just the right amount of padding. Very easy to install with convenient loops. Great price...no need to spend more. 5Maybe a bit too long? The previous review did a good job of summing this strap up. I'd like to add that it may even be a bit too long.I picked this strap up at the local camera shop for my largish small camera (an Olympus micro four-thirds). Now, at 6'2", I'm not a small person. However, with everything tightened up to the max the strap is 37" long and leaves the camera sitting between my chest and stomach. Ideally, I prefer to carry my camera a bit higher to prevent it from swinging too much. The other drawback to having it tightened to it's minimum length is that it leaves ugly little nylon webbing tails dangling from the QR bits and there's nothing to tuck them into (they're evident in the product image...think 9" or so of them dangling about on each side). I may trim the tails and then melt the nylon at the edge with a soldering iron to keep it from fraying. Seems like a lot of work for a ten dollar strap though.I will say that overall, I like the strap. I don't think I'd use it on an SLR. It's kind of narrow and I suspect it wouldn't be all that comfortable with six pounds of camera and lens attached to it. For the one pound that my little Olympus weighs in at, it's perfect. 3
