Second one came in looking like it sat in a warehouse uncovered for years. Returning and hoping I get a new one.Full review: I have purchased two of these albums. I initially bought the original Itoya Art portfolio (the one with the silver spine) and really liked it. I decided I would try the Evolution version as well. The first album was fantastic. The sleeves seem a bit more clear, the cover is softer than the original version, and at first I was disappointed. Then I held it a bit and actually really like the feel compared to the original. I liked it so much I fact, that I ordered a second one. This is where it went wrong.The second one came in the mail just minutes ago. I opened the amazon box and immediately noticed the plastic wrapper that was on the portfolio was torn in two spots. No big deal. I took a few photos just in case and pulled the plastic off. The edges of the portfolio are covered in dust. All around the edges you can see a grey dust. The actual cover of the album itself also seems like a slight bit different material. It s more rough, not nice and smooth like my first album. Then I looked at the pages and the first page was covered in dust and what almost look like water spots. I also don t know how to explain, but somehow the same number of pages (24) are double as thick as the first album. Almost like they have expanded. They just feel cheaper and not as good. The stamp on the back cover of the albu is also different. It honestly seems like they are two different manufactures of the same product. One is great, one is garbage. I am returning it and going to try and buy another. Hopefully this next one matches my first portfolio. 3Well made.Purchased two portfolios for displaying printed color swatches for a printing company. Clear sleeves provide adequate protection from flipping pages on a semi regular basis. Works great! 5PresentationAs my first profolio I'm happy with the purchase. 4Great priceThe price is really too good to pass up, or to complain much about the quality. Overall, and in theory, it's a great product. But the spine cracked from the bottom about three inches up while I was inserting the second page. Pretty sure I wasn't mishandling it as I was inserting newsprint, being about as gentle as I could. In the end, though, I'd buy this again vs a more expensive, heavier portfolio even if I could find these sizes with attached pages. Just be careful with it... 4Great priceVery nice for storing my daughters "works of art", flyers from her school plays. It's a simple way to "scrapbook" when you don't have the time to scrapbook. Quality is good, even though they inside pages can tear if you replace the inserts too many times. If they would improve the durability of the inside sleeves they'd have a customer for life. But you can't beat the price on Amazon 4Love this Binder!!!I can not recommend this binder enough to anyone looking to place large pictures or prints in a safe place. The Evolution series is my personal choice (having owned it and the normal Itoya version). 5Professional lookingThis portfolio book is the perfect weight. Lightweight and strong enough for multiple presentations. 5
